WHY DO YOU NEED A BACKGROUND MUSIC FOR A SOFTWARE TUTORIAL? ITS ANNOYING ! Except that its a best video
THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK! I will turn it down in the next one but to be honest I like it. Each to their own I guess :)
How about 3d view?
Heyy do you help people individually?
Revit is more easy i am also trying to learn archicad but its complicated as compared to revit 😢 by the way useful video 👍
I know what you mean! Eventually though the tables may turn and you’ll find revit the complicated one. I think it really comes down to which one you end up using the most :) You got this!
This is a very old and not productive way. But graphisoft haven’t done anything new in 20 years. Maybe in AC28/ pray
well I would say that this is a quick method for early stages of a project or competition work. In order to model more accurate landscapes you will need to follow a different process using an accurate survey plan. We shall see what AC28 does, always room for improvement.
How to resize a photo by rectangle not square
Hi, sorry I am not sure what you mean. The process should work for both rectangles and squares.
this is really helpful, thank you.
I am glad you found it helpful, thank you for your comment!
Thanks
You're welcome! Thank you for your support.
Selection of the empty openings is a pain the neck in Archicad. I somehow managed to move the empty opening to the edge of the wall because I needed half of the opening (the "wall" is a cupboard door) then I copied and mirrored the cupboard door and arranged it in a symmetrical way - so far so good but the last step is almost impossible to execute - the selection of the empty opening of the second cupboard door.
Hmmm, sounds like you're doing a lot. I am not sure If I am following how you are using the 'Solid Element Operation' tool but try exploring alternative methods for creating cupboards :) Feel free to go into more detail and perhaps if I can chisel out more time I can address this in another video!
Love your tutorials, almost quit Archicad coming from Maya 😂 Thanks for your work.
ay that's awesome! Thank you for the positive feedback, I am glad it helped.
Many didn´t love the music and found it distracting. However, since I´ve watched several Archicad tutorials, I found your bgm nice. Maybe you can lower the volumen vs your voice. I didn´t need this tool until today, so thanks a lot for your help!
Thank you for the additional feedback and I am glad you enjoyed the music. Yes, great point too about adjusting the volume :)
Thank you.
You're welcome!
you know things well, but you had no capacity to explain. work on your capablity of explaining
oddly direct feedback but I think I understand what you're talking about. I agree, a script would help me better articulate myself instead of speaking on the fly.
Hey, it would be much appreicated if you can create a tutorial for creating layers in Archicad.
Great idea! You’ve inspired me to make more content. Hopefully it will be out soon!
Thank you so much, dont worry im crying while working. 🤣😭
haha, glad you enjoyed it. Maybe I should figure out how to send free tissues? I know your pain, I hope it all worked out!
This vid is pogalishious
Hmmm, If only I knew what this means.... thanks? :)
Are you really talking so slow or is your video slowed down? Like wtf bruh
I got you man, I’ll talk slower for the next one
@@JDArchitecture No do NOT talk slower :p (I'll speed it up anyways)
Haha just playing, always appreciate the feedback
I just found your channel... As an architecture student you just saved my life
Glad it helped, I hope you're studies are going well!
short video but with a lot of usefull information - great
Oh wow, thank you. I appreciate the feedback :)
Excellent video presentation by speeding repetitive tasks.
Awesome, thanks for the positive feedback. I am glad you enjoyed it.
big help tips thx mate
No worries! I am glad it helped :)
veryyy helpfullll
Glad it helped, thanks for the support!
For me this doesnt work, if i change one measurement on the x-axis, it also changes the y-axis so it only works for that specific point.
hmmm, did you want to only adjust the scale of the drawing along one axis?
Can you send me your layers video
Hi Kisembo, I unfortunately haven’t made a layers video yet! But I will start getting it in the works and hopefully upload it soon! Is there anything in particular that you are struggling to understand about Archicad layers?
U R A GENIUS!!! Thanks so much!
I don't know about that but thanks for your kind words! I am glad it helped :)
this is really helpful, thank you.
I am glad it helped, thank you for your support :)
Thank you, very well explained with all necessary steps, very helpful.
I am glad you found it helpful, thank you also for your feedback :)
TOP G
Thank you Heaven :)
very helpful
Glad it helped!
very helpful,thx
You're welcome!
Wow, that's awesome, I have been struggling to do this
Thanks Brother ❤
thank you!
nice bro well done
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Hi, Thank you so much!...
You are welcome :)
Thanks for the tutorial! Im tyring to transition over and it is extremely helpful!
Great tutorial, but how does it show in the floorplan? Does it cut exactly the way the wall is cut (so, what you see is what you get) or do you see the symbolic view of the wall (without the whole)?
Thank you! Good Question, Unfortunately you can only see the symbolic view of the wall without the SEO.... I'm sure there is a way to fix this but I am not aware of any solutions :(
@@JDArchitecture Yes, it is the most not cool part. the wall after SEO can't show correct 2d plan appearence.
thanks
Welcome :)
Dude, how about the opening tool…
Yeah the opening tool is the best way to do it these days! I believe it was a new tool that came out with Archicad 23... so prior to this, this method was the best way to do it. I do note too that this is Archicad 23 but at the time of recording I hadn't become familiar with the new tool
More time crying 🤣. Thanks for the video, very helpful.
haha glad you liked it!
Thanks
No problem :)

Thanks
draw any shape you want slab and save selection as window
ay, nice!
great tutorial, thanks! The only thing is that the music is a bit distracting :D Can't wait for more Archicad videos!
thank you! great feedback, I will need to at least turn it down :) Thanks for the support!
Great! But the music... .)
Think it’s too much? Too loud or should I just cut it out? Open to all feedback
@@JDArchitecture hello Jacob! It's just my opinion, but I think that those who watch this type of video have a single interest: to learn something, and quickly. It's not about entertainment, it's about taking a lesson. I follow the music on youtube a lot, but if I need a tutorial on how to do a certain thing with a software, the background music bothers me and does not help me to concentrate. We are already surrounded by noises! hello good job
@@warburgaby yes I really value hearing people’s opinions so thank you! Some really good points. On the topic of short and to the point, once I get through my final semester of university (7 weeks!! ) I’ll be uploading not just more content but longer videos like this and shorter 1 min videos, so I’ll need all the feedback to make those videos are effective as possible… so thank you again, your feedback helps me refine the content.
@@JDArchitecture ok Jacob! see you soon on your channel :)
I cant Believe so much trouble for so SIMPLE operation. I Mean, the guys at archicad tought "okay, basically no one will ever use a triangle shaped wall, so, lets not include this shit.
Haha yeah, it’s a pain, there are some other ways of doing it with just morphs but at the end of the day this operation is much simpler in Revit. One day they’ll fix it though (hopefully).
Great. Learning archicad after Revit. Wanna to know both softwares.
Thank you! yes 100% recommend :)
Which software is the best in terms of fast work?. Revit or archicad. I feel more comfortable with Revit.
It really does come down to what your comfortable with. People will give you split opinions on which is better or more efficient but for me they’re both VERY similar, they can do essentially the same things with the same time. It’s always good to try learn archicad as well then you can make a decisions based on what you personally prefer to use.
Archicad or Revit?
The tutorial here is for Archicad, It shows snippets from Revit to help people who have prior knowledge of how to use Revit but are learning Archicad. Let me know if you would like to see any tutorials for Revit though! :)

hi, can you do a tutorial on how to make complex custom railings? like for example volute type railings something like that and also I was struggling on adjusting the placement of Newel Post and the balusters to fit in the treads of the stair.
oooo, that one is a tricky one! I will need some time to figure it out myself but hopefully I can get some content about complex rails in the future :)
