Nobunari Oda's (JPN) silver medal performance at the Grand Prix Final held in Toyko, Japan, December 3-5. His freeskate score was 155.71, for a total combined score of 243.36. He beat 2 of the 3 American men as well as his rival Daisuke Takahashi. While this was not a perfect performance he skated extremely well in front of a home crowd and earned the silver. Great Job!

Rachael Flatt's (USA) freeskate perfomance from the 2009 World Figure Skating Championships, which were held at the Staples Center in LA. She skated very well, and finished 5th overall. Great job at your first senior worlds Rachael!

Mirai Nagasu's (USA) freeskate at the 2009 Grand Prix: Skate Canada. She had a great performace, in which she took 4th overall.

Joannie Rochette's (CAN) freeskate at 2009's final Grand Prix event: Skate Canada. She won the gold medal, even though it was not her best performance, she skated with grace and poise. She now advances onto the Grand Prix Final where she hopes to capitalize on her win. Good Luck Joannie!

Alissa Czisny's (USA) freeskate at the last event of 2009's Grand Prix, where she took silver. She will not unfortunately move on to the Grand Prix Final in December, but it will give her time to prepare for US Nationals this coming January (of which she is reigning champion). Daisuke Takahashi's (JPN) freeskate from 2009's final Grand Prix event: Skate Canada. He took the silver medal over all but won the freeskate over Jeremy Abbott (USA) with a score of 231.31. This is yet another program that shows his inovation, creativity and amazing ability to perform, even after his setback last season. Enjoy.
