We stayed there in November 2022, and had a fab time . Great little island with plenty to do, some very good snorkelling and great food and well stocked bars to cater for everyone. We had a very nice beach bungalow which was very nice.

Lux Belle Mare in this video is dated, It's been completely renovated and now open after the hotel burn down completely around 3 yrs ago, i stayed there before the fire, highly recommended the Lux group.

The Park Hyatt should be on this list. The Langham is the best hotel I have stayed at.

I have no idea why the Plaza keeps coming up on these lists. It's not even in the top 20 anymore. This hotel jumped the shark 20 years ago when they sold it to the Saudis and turned all the best rooms into condos. There are dozens of better 5 star options, It also badly needs to be renovated. It's living off a reputaiton from the 1950s to 1980s that is no longer merited.
