@@teejaybd670 i had an alienware curved screen before. I never got used to it. Its good maybe on certain games like racing. I returned mine right away. I also don't understand why they'd feel the need to curve a 32inch...lol

Don't bother. Mine was DOA and didn't even turn on or anything when I got it yesterday. I'm sending the POS back tomorrow. Worst money I ever spent.

Try a microfiber cloth, it really works

Yea dont use microfiber clothes on it, made that mistake and made a light scratch, just use the tyoe of cloth that comes with it, just a dab of water on it and only clean it when its off and cold. Otherwise it smears like mad​@dwrldgster3151

I haven’t noticed much difference, it still looks good. I only ever have issues when my room lights are on, but even then it’s not too much an issue. But I do like kinda turn up the brightness in games so not sure if that makes a difference

It really is. Super underrated

It does have a typing mode that makes it a little better, but yes its a bit of an awkward typer. Feels very mushy. You can get aftermarket switches for it that makes it both type and sound better, but then you are looking at another 70 bucks or so on top of the retail price. If typing for long periods of time is your main concern, I would probably put that money into a keychron with actual tactile switches instead.

I actually use a newer monitor now (you can see another vid I posted about it), but both are 32”. The long pad that goes the full length is the Secretlab MAGPAD desk mat, it came free with the desk. The other smaller pad is just a gaming mousepad - KTRIO I think is the brand? Got it on Amazon. Thanks! My setup has moved/updated since this video. Not anything crazy though. Haha

Secretlab Magnus Pro! Def not cheap but I figured I wouldn’t need a new one for a while. Plus it’s really good for cable management and it’s a magnetic ecosystem

Depends on what you have and if you’re prioritizing refresh rate vs resolution/etc. this one’s slightly smaller at 32”, but it has 4K UHD res at 3840x2160

Yes I'm using the Secretlab Magnus pro desk, it's 27.6" wide (front to back) and 59.1" long (left to right). The stand takes up about 11.5" with the screen about 3" ish inches behind the front of the stand. I do wish it were further back, but i've gotten used to it I guess

Yeah, I was really hoping the actual game case was a steel book with 4 slots for the discs

So my desk total depth is like 27”. The monitor plus stand/legs is about 11.5”, leaving 16” of desk space left. But the actual screen is about 3” behind the tip of the legs, so more like 19” away from the screen, assuming I’m leaning like right up on the desk

I actually didn’t know that! I was wondering why the Xbox version had way more discs. Haha. Larian did mention in their site (or email) that the game is large and hence all the discs. I can’t wait for you to get yours!!

For the full game itself, it’s 138gb, but the installation was complicated. Disc 1 was like 80 gb disc/48 gb network, disc 2 was 87 gb disc/48 gb network, disc 3 was 60 gb disc/78 gb network, and disc 4 was 28 gb disc/109 gb network. So it looked like the total network count was the total size of the game but the discs actually contained bigger files if you add them all up

It works fine with my Series X. You just won’t get like the highest settings available. The Xbox or PS5 would limit the capabilities

Depends on your budget and preference. But I’ll just say that I love it so far and have gamed for so many hours. And watched movies too

I can't speak for which Asus monitor you want (I hear the ROG one is good but sold out), but for competitive gaming I think it's best to prioritize refresh rate (144hz+ min), response time (1ms or less), and adaptive sync tech (I only know of like G-sync and freensync). 1080p resolution is usually good enough for online so it's less strain on your gpu, unless you have a high-end one. As for size, 24-27" is good for seeing the whole screen more easily. This monitor is great for a more immersive experience, especially if you like single player games. Multiplayer isn't bad either, I've tried it a few times and it's worked just fine for me. Ultimately, it just comes down to personal preference and budget.
