YALL, YALL, I just realized, at the start of the game when you interact with the Froggit and it says meow, and you interact with it again and it says ribbit, that literally perfectly embodies every non-character-made joke in Undertale, Toby even does something similar in Snowdin.

oh my goodness, Toriel in this is absolutely adorable. All the silly poses, from the surprise switch, the thinking pose and even her nerd-esque lecture on battles, they make her so expressive and I love it so much.

This is literally perfect, I am going around the internet looking to hopefully see all the souls get their own prequels, but this has the potential to be the best so far, and that's including yellow, I'm assuming the baby sound is a joke and won't get into the game, don't put that in the game that alone will make the game twice as bad, anyways once again this is perfect, and oh ma goodness imagine you can get to Asgore with Toriel there.

I think that if you changed the sprite emotions to something maybe less deltarunish It would give more of an undertale vibe rather than deltarune.
