Hello! Round 3 ends with 24 stitches, but round 4 ends with 32. Are you getting confused on round 3 or round 4? Round 4 can be easy to mess up if you overlook the stitch pattern for that round. For round 3 you will end on 24 stitches & each round increases by 8 so by the end of round 4 you should have 32 stitches. Here's the important part that can be easy to mess up if you aren't paying close enough attention to the stitch pattern: make sure for round 4 you are doing, *SC in the first stitch, INC in the next stitch, SC in the next stitch*. If you are just alternating single crochet & increase, you will not end with the correct amount of stitches. So be sure you aren't just doing a single crochet & then an increase & then a single crochet & then an increase as that is incorrect. Be sure that you are doing a single crochet & then an increase & then a single crochet & then another single crochet & then an increase, etc. Are you making sure there are 2 single crochets in a row like that? It totally depends on the project, but you can just chain a couple & then skip a couple of stitches & that will make a button hole! You can attach the button by just sewing it right on. Hope that helps 💖
