Maybe you mentioned this in another video, possibly? But wondering, is it safe to be standing up when wrapping the baby on your back before it's secure? I ask because I've tried doing back wraps with my son but he wiggles every time, and I'm so fearful he will tumble onto the ground that I stop. I haven't been able to get it yet.

The panel on this is too wide for her. You want the legs to hang freely and swing from the knee.

thanks for this tutorial.very helpful. Just wondering, is your mei tai just large for your baby because its covering the face or is this just alright? my mei tai also covers my baby's face when I tried a back carry.

Good video and I love how thin your stretchy wraps are. It's a bit confusing for new wrappers to call this front wrap cross carry as this is actually showing Pocket Wrap Cross Carry.

Definitely trying this back carry today. It seems a little easier to remember the steps than some of the other carries. Will be my first back carry and my LO is 9 MO. Front carry stopped working for us about a month ago but I miss my wraps and hate the bulkiness of a stroller.

Looks a lot like the back wrap cross carry I use with my LO. The most comfortable carry for us, by far:)

It's funny, because I swear I've looked at this video before and not noticed it, but this isn't secure high back carry, it's Jordan's back carry. SHBC has you tie a half knot at your chest after the first pass.

You forgot to mention that babywearing is also good developmentally. The babies/toddlers can then see what Mom/Dad are doing, and it stimulates their minds in healthy ways. :-)

Thank you so much for all these videos. i hve 3 kids aged 4 and under (the youngest is 14 months) and i feel as though i missed the boat with carrying :( I just bought a woven wrap and am going to start carrying and see how baby takes to it.

Thank you for sharing this video, I will be using this technique real soon!! It will be easier now that I can see this way of doing it as well as the fact that sometimes things just get twisted. Thank you for not redoing it and leaving the twisting issue out, so helpful!!!

I agree HeartOnMySeeve77 clearly DiscoBiskitts has no kids. They don't understand that you can't do everything while carrying a baby on your hip, or how it throws the hip out of place, or the fact that now the baby is close to mom no matter what she is doing and she can get things done around the house and the baby is learning how to do things as well as being close to mom and carried... Yep, we are just lazy moms when we are doing things as well as carrying our baby around. Power to the 'lazy'!

no you should never use a stretchy wrap for a back carry baby can flip out its super dangerous please read the disclaimer on the video

I love a lot of your videos, especially your wiggle proof video, but when I came to grab this video to show a friend with a young one how to do a FWCC, I noticed that this is the pocket wrap cross carry, not the FWCC. Still a great video though. :)

It's obvious you don't know much (if anything) about attachment parenting and baby carrying. I suggest you'd better get more information before you leave such comment.
