This is mainly just an unboxing and sizing vid. I'll return to this mule after a month or so of wear to give my review.

I'm not entirely sure what to think about the Off Grid Clog from Crocs, part of me really enjoys the ergonomic footbed but part of me is vexed over the design of the exterior. I've come to the conclusion that it's a sportier version of the classic clog. I attempt to resize the Off Grid Clog the traditional clothes dryer method then Buddy, The Jack Russell, takes me for a walk while I try to put...

1:16 What is the title of the music clip?
It looks nice on the outside but you can't judge how comfortable it is to wear until you've used it for at least a month.
Mine just arrived today, I haven’t opened the box yet but I’m stoked!
Yours is actually the first video that comes up when searched :)
How do they behave in snow? Like do you feel is good enough to go out for a walk with my dog in snowy conditions?
Any way that you can locate the older styles in the crops there should be a catalog that say for instance you distance to revise some of the older styles
I ordered this model on Tuesday, and they arrived on Friday. No more beaspunge for me.
Same, ordered Tues they showed Friday, free shipping too I was pleasantly surprised how quick they arrived.
Yea just wait for the sale on the junipers
@@CrocHead83 I don't think any more releases will be exclusive releases he's attending a convention. There's also the Black Friday sale that has everything from the entire year available. The Guava Junipers were available. Crocs is faster and cheaper, plus some discounts work on the Junipers.
I feel like I could size down twice....
I felt that way too but sizing down once they were too short lengthwise but still too sloppy width wise. Very awkward fit. Maybe for very wide feet it would fit better.
How about Zanscape
Colorway is really nice!
I think so too! Best one yet I think. I guess the next Juniper colorway is going to be RealTree camo.
Great comparison video. I just got a pair of the Echo clogs and am wondering if I should have gone with the Classic or the Baya instead. I read so many positive reviews on the Echo before getting them but I gotta say, I'm a little bit disappointed with mine. I thought they were gonna be super comfy where my feet would just sink into a soft, plush midsole and to be honest, they're just okay, nothing to write home about. My old Skechers valiant clogs before they shrunk and even with the stupid poking arch fit were slightly more comfortable, if I'm being honest. That being said they are my first pair of Crocs, maybe I just need more time for them to break in. But one thing for sure, I'm really not a fan of the bumps on the inner soles. It's hot and humid here so I can't really wear socks with them. I have sensitive feet though, so that may explain why.
Okay yeah you might like the Classic Crocs, they have some sales going on right now for the holidays on the Crocs website. I really like the echo slides I haven't bought the echo clogs yet though I was waiting for some funky colorways to come out. The echo insole is pretty cushy I enjoy that footbed in the slides but I usually wear them with socks though too. You can't go wrong with the Classic Crocs though. The Mellow line is also comfortable, but the sizing is off with them they run big. I really like the Pollex Clog from crocs, they're on sale right now too. They're a little wild looking but they fit my foot really well, they're nice and wide with a decent footbed but be sure to size down on those too though they run big. I'm on a half size so I bounce up and down depending on the model, they all differ some. The Off Grid Clog probably has the least aggressive texture on the footbed if that's what you're after. Those have good ergonomics too and are a little more sporty, I would size down on those also. I've got a vid on those on my channel. The Classic Crocs have some little bumps in the soles though too I just thought about but they're not as aggressive as the echo bumps. The nice thing about Crocs is you can return them free of charge as long as you haven't worn them outside yet. I'll usually try them on indoors for a bit to see if they fit if not just return them so you can try them out risk free basically. I've probably returned more for sizing purposes than I've kept. Another decent option is the Jordan Roam, those are quite comfy they don't have aggressive texture on the footbed and they're nice and wide. I have a video on those too. There's a lot of good options out there that might be better than the Echo for you. My favorite slide is the OOfos Sport flex slide, they're very cushy but have a high arch support, it sinks down when you step on it but is best for a higher arch, that's why I like those so much. I talk about them some in my oofos Oocoozie vid. Those have a smooth footbed also, no bumps. Theres a lot to choose from out there, there's always something new I want to try. Everyone's foot is different though what works for me might not work for you. Thanks for the compliments on the video :)
What size are you on sneaker per say Nikes is it true to size base on these .?
I haven't bought a pair of Nike shoes in a long time. My foot length is 11.25 inches I wear a 12 in most shoes, 11.5 in some like New Balance and these fit perfect in a 12 for me not roomy but not too small. Theyre a little narrower than standard crocs. If you wear a half size or even a whole size I would go up the next size. I would actually prefer these in another half size up but they only have whole sizes so 12 is fine for me 12.5 would be perfect 13 would be too big so I had to settle with the 12. If you can get them on sale theyre alright but If I had to choose between these and the Overpuff Clog from crocs I would pick the overpuff theyre more comfortable. These Puff Moc have a firm footbed similar to the Northface thermoball moc if you've ever tried on a pair of those the footbed is the same very flat and semi firm. I wear the overpuff Clog everyday and I haven't really worn these mocs since making the video theyre not as warm as the overpuff clog and its cold wear I live. If you live in more mild temps they would be perfect as theyre not too warm but decent.
hard to tell what the material is like -- do you think the enclosed parts are waterproof / rinseable?? I loved having the old no-longer-available lined blitzen clogs that didn't have the vent holes for trudging around in shallow snow/slush. hoping these might be a suitable replacement after not having an option for a while
They are made of the standard Croslite foam material all the other crocs are made of just a little thicker in spots for the puff look, the liner is fleece. I'm sure the liner would dry if you washed them out. These have been my go to for winter wear so far, we haven't gotten much snow yet in Michigan. I wore them the other day we had a couple inches of snow on the ground they were fine. I would be cautious walking to too deep of snow though as the heel is open like on standard crocs your heel might get wet. I really like them but would probably wear something else in deeper snow. Slush is probably fine theyre waterproof except for the open heel area being exposed.
@CrocHead83 thank you for the thorough response! I ordered a pair while they were on sale a few days ago and looking forward to trying them out
@@lowbar913 Nice! I think you'll like them. Crocs did a good job with this one. I'm happy to share the info sorry I didn't respond sooner I only get on RUclips on my days off. Cheers!
is it true to size? or do u have to upsize 1 inch?
These run true to size. I wear 11.5 and went with 12 and they fit very well.
@@CrocHead83 i get feedbacks that they fit snug. I have wide feet and plans to wear it with socks.
Thank you so much! One question, does bayaband more heavy than others?
Slightly its not enough to really notice when theyre on foot. I googled the weight and found this website it has the weight of the different models workwearcommand.com/crocs-weight/. The classics weigh the same as the Baya at .43 pounds and the Crocband they call it on the website is .6 pounds.
Useful video. I’m finding the sizing with classics inconsistent. They’re either way too big or way too small. All Bayas fit me perfect. Is that green the “pistachio” colour?
Nice! The Bayas aren't bad I like them, I wish I would have went down a size they run big on me I discovered. I might resize them with the clothes dryer method. Yeah the green is the Pistachio, they had that color on sale I'm not a huge fan of it, Its not terrible but wouldn't have picked that color if they weren't on sale. I plan on doing a painting video with them I want to do some design on the top with some paint markers. I thought the Pistachio would be a decent base color to build on with some other blues and greens. I'm happy to hear the video was useful though I thought it might help. The sizing is always awkward with Crocs, I always wondered personally what was different between the classic and the baya, but couldn't find a video explaining that and figured I wasn't the only one wondering. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@CrocHead83How weird I’ve found the opposite! I’ve ordered pistachio - hope I like it. The designs on crocs sounds cool! Tumble dryer method works great, I done it with my classics today. One of the pairs are just huge they’re still too big but the others fit perfect now.
I usually wear a size 8, but for Black Friday, I got two pairs of Crocs. The first pair, Echo style, is size 7. They surprisingly fit, but my right second toe hurts, even though they’re fine on my left foot. The second pair, Off Court Clog (Star Wars edition), is size 8, but they’re shockingly too small!
@@RC-df9lz Awesome! I'm glad it worked out, you can keep throwing them in the dryer if theyre still too big, they will eventually shrink. I did a video on shrinking the offgrid croc and had issues with them shrinking inconsistently, It shows in the video too how much one shrunk versus the other. I ended up having to put the larger one in for two or three more five minute sessions in the dryer to eventually get it the same size as the other. People will stretch them out this way too if you have a pair that is too small, by warming them up they get soft as you know, and if you layer up a couple pairs of socks and force your foot in them they will stretch out too. I've seen people do this with Yeezy Foam Runners too, I think it will work with any foam based shoe. Hot water works too I've seen. Boil a pot, let it cool for a minute then submerge the Croc in the water then force them on foot. That method looks a little messy though. I might try it shrinking the top strap of my Croc Mellow Slides because I just want to shrink the top strap and not the bottom, so I figured I would just dip the top in hot water and see if it shrinks it up. I'll do a vid on that too when I do it. Croc science is fun lol.
@@shadiziaee I would send them back. Especially if they hurt. Echo's do run big so they recommend to size down. If there's inconsistency between the left and right pair though I would definitely return them and probably size up. I would say resize them with the clothes dryer trick but I'm not sure if that would work with the Echo's. Same with the Star wars ones if they run small grab a larger size. I struggle with the sizing constantly with Crocs between models. Just don't wear them outside and you can return them. They hate when you wear them outside then try to return them. They typically carry the Echo line in store you can try them on and see what works with your feet if you have a Croc store nearby. If not just return them and try the next size up would be my suggestion. Thanks for commenting. :)
Would you hike in them? Or would you just slip on rocks?
I wouldn't personally hike in them. They would be fine on some trails but the footbed isn't very supportive. Had I gone up in size and was able to get more of a sole insert in them they might be alright on a short hike but I think they're kind of an awkward shoe and would be uncomfortable on any significant trek. If I had to buy them again I would probably save the money not a huge fan of them personally. They look cool but missed the mark in my opinion. I think the Echo Surge is a better shoe if you want to go with a Croc shoe.
@@CrocHead83thank you so much for this feedback!! Greatly appreciated!!
@@ball4life850 Happy to help out!
Are these wide toebox like the clogs?
Yeah they fit roomy like most crocs in the toe. Very comfortable. I wouldn't size down though if you're a half size. I went up and they fit good. If you're a whole size youre probably good getting your true size.
My olive roam slides just got delivered today. Choose this colour because of your video. They were on sale for $60 here in Australia. Which is about $40 US. Already wore them to the shops. Went with size 12 which is my true size and they fit and feel perfect. Feel great with or without socks. They gonna be my go to summer shoe the next few months.
Nice! I'm happy to hear my video was helpful. That's a good price for 40. Yeah they're really a nice slide very comfortable. I haven't worn them without socks yet its cold here in Michigan right now I've been rocking the overpuff clog. Definitely in the summer though I'll be wearing the Roams too. They look nicer than my crocs and are very comfortable I'm surprised theyre not more popular there's not a lot of content on them. Nike has another foam shoe coming out soon I just saw I might have to pick those up too since these were good. I'll do a video on them if I do. Thanks for commenting and watching. My channel is small so I appreciate engagement it will help promote my video to others. Cheers!
is it true that you have to size down your usual (literide, classic) crocs size?
It varies from model to model, It seems all croc models fit different, some are larger than others. The Off Grid run a little larger than the classics. I ordered a 12, but then later tried on the 11 and it fit better. The echo line run large too the echo clog and echo slide I size down, but the echo shoe line I go up. It makes a difference when the toe is enclosed. I don't size down in classic croc I wear a 12, I haven't tried the literide yet. I just made a video today on the differences between three different Crocs models, check that video out it will give you an idea of the inconsistent sizing between models.
R u usually a size 11 in shoe?
I'm often an 11.5 to be precise if I measure my foot length its 11.25 inches, typically I wear a size 12. It varies from brand.
Is it better to upsize or just stay with our usual size?
These run true to size. I would recommend to get them in whatever your standard Crocs size is.
These are awesome
They are pretty nice I'm a fan of them.
In the Classic Clogs and Dylan Clogs I wear an 11. In the Pollex Clogs I am a 10. What do you think would be my size in these ?
I would go with an 11. With the surge being closed toe you'll want the extra toe space. I wear a 12 in classic clog, 11 in the Pollex, and I went with a 12 in the Surge and they fit well. I've got comments from people who sized down and they're too small. With that being said go with your normal Crocs size being the 11 for the surge.
@ Awesome! Thanks for the info 👌🏼
@@lpsidler No problem thanks for watching and for commenting! 😀
These are pretty cool, could you post the link on where you got these?
You can find them on the regular Crocs website. www.crocs.com/p/classic-lined-overpuff-clog/210059.html?cgid=overpuff&cid=84J I got mine from Academy Sports because they didn't have my size in stock on the Crocs website. It looks like they have since restocked mens sizes on the crocs website. They have more color options there. Here's the link to academy sports, it looks like they only have two colors available there. www.academy.com/p/crocs-adult-classic-lined-overpuff-clog I would just get them from crocs if I were you at this point since they restocked, as they offer free shipping on orders over 50 dollars.
Thanks bud, decided to get a pair after watching 👍🏻
Nice! Glad my review was useful. I think you'll like them. I wear them daily right now in the cooler months. I'm a big fan of them.
Great review! Did you order a size 11 for the insoles since the crocs are size 11?
Thank you! I did order the insole in an 11 yes, they fit the croc perfectly.
When it will launch in India or for sale
I'm not sure on the international release of this Croc. Thats a good question. I searched and didn't see it listed on the Crocs India website. You might be able to order it from the US crocs website and see if it will ship to you. I did find the customer service email for Crocs India. Maybe send them an email and ask about this model? Here is the email: support-in@crocs.in
Is this how you normally walk ? Looks like you’re worried they fall out or like they’re stiff!?
No they stay on pretty well, the heel strap keeps them on. Yeah theyre just a little stiff and flat, not much flex with them. Not the most comfortable honestly. I'd recommend the overpuff clog if you want something warm for the winter.
@@CrocHead83 thanks so much
What size is that? Would you suggest getting a size up or actual size?
I ordered a 12 and they barely fit. I typically wear and 11.5 or 12 in other shoes. Yes, I would recommend sizing up if you can get them larger especially if your feet are wide. These are rather narrow especially with the higher sides to them.
Nice Crocs!!! (=
Thanks! I like them too.
How do you like them? I heard mixed reviews on how they are either too big or too small…mainly on warning ppl to size down. I bought a pair and I’m waiting on them to get here. I hope they fit lol
I like them, I sized up they fit fine. You could probably size down but when its a closed toe I'd rather have the extra space. I have the echo slide and I sized down they fit perfect but its open toe also. I think it would be too small if I sized down on the Surge. I did another video on them more of a review talking about them more.
@@CrocHead83 I agree about the sizing, I had sized down and I'm returning them for a bigger size ... Yeah I had seen the video after I commented on this video lol
