I think surging sparks will come and go and not get any huge reprints anytime soon. Prismatics and team rockets and 151 I believe will be milked and restocked heavy.

I don’t think they are short printing SS and PE on purpose, but it might have had a shorter run than normal due to other business needs. MPG prints a lot of other TCGs, products, and Sports cards, they are even printing the new MetaZoo for Q1 2025. but they are printing a lot (billions and setting new records every year) and they have not reprinted early SV with a big rerun yet. And they also still have all the upcoming sets to print. I think the pedal is to the metal, and even on the MPG website they run the presses 24/7, they even have job openings for help on the night shift. In my large metro, we cannot find much SS in the wild at big box anymore. My LGS is pretty much out too, and he said his allocations were less than half of what he normally gets. PE ETBs also dropped on Target today, didn’t even last 10 mins.

I think Pokemon know what they are doing at its all just FOMO, They have been in the tcg industry for over 2 decades. I rly like that u took up the Pika from Fusion Strike and this is the same.

100% suppliers are withholding surging sparks to artificially increase the demand/fomo and drive prices up..

They deff did not short print it. But the demand is just thru the roof that the product t disapearing makes it seem that way. I was allocated a ton from distro on release but since then have gotten 1 case of ETBs and 1 case of sleeved boosters and 2 single boxes. A lot of old dead accounts started asking for product t with this set that havnt been active since Covid and that’s drastically affecting numbers. Also GameStop now selling boxes also affects numbers GREATLY as each store should be getting a set amount of those too. And that takes away product from other sources that normally would get more

Bro I was about to buy a box of surging for 160 and the seller had 7 left this morning(which is still a lot but better than current market price) I decided to buy it and before I could even blink the whole 7 were gone, I blame hype and scalpers but just gotta be patience for rewaves or restocks + some holidays deals
