Awesome downwind SAIL to the B E A UTIFUL barrier landing
Welcome home Jens
Well done mate, good onya for giving it a go.
Hey Mate, nice Video, bar crossings in large swell are not for the faint hearted, good choice, skipper
Thanks for the comment yes my belief has become when in doubt stay out. Trying not to let other pressures like tiredness influence decision making
Obviously no need for one of those parasailor con job gimmick spinnakers with a hole in....
thanks for the comment but lm not sure what you mean
@fullspinnakerahead look up parasailor. It's a nonsense very high priced vented Spinnaker that is touted as being very stable. Your kite looked very stable too without the $2000 hole in both the Spinnaker and wallet.
Is that Paul Hogans son there
Can I ask you brother if you had the CV shots? Cancer, shingles are common with the those who have had CV shots.
l had covid shots x 5 l had cancer before covid thou. Thanks for the reply.
Thanks for the comment
Great video-- AGM are just fine, cost less and if that is what your system is set up for then it's all good-- what is the design of your cat? Phil
Thanks for the comment . My catamaran is a owen easton 43 extended to 46 with sugar scoops
Toucan those seas out of the Sydney heads look wild I was wondering how you got the images of toucan sailing off the heads. Also is there a reason why you did not go with lithium batteries
Hi hanks for the comments. The seas out of Sydney were subject to some swell from the previous storm but otherwise comfortable enough to sail in. However the display on the cliffs and rock were magnificent. i think the images were of another sailng vessel not Toucan. Its a busy place. I went with agm as my sailing boat is set up for agm and they provide me with adequate power.
Beautiful love the colour 🥰
Thank you! 😊
Sort of no how u feel i have had three hip ops two failures and an staf infection its put my plans back 2 years pretty well stuffed me for full time work bit hard when your a chippy but back on the bike and move forward cheers mate
Thanks for the reply back on the bike l am
Very informative, that's all new to me Happy to hear you're over the shingles at long last, and you are able to take full advantage of your location at last Cheers Andy
Hi its a good system in certain situations. Thanks for the reply
good good
Good onya mate. Nothing like a real story.
Thanks for comment it really helps
awesome content, thank you!
Thanks for the comment
Thanks for sharing not bad all the best comming up the coast
Thanks fo
How long did each leg take ?
You are very talented, most sailing bloggers I watch take their sails to a sail maker for repairs. Eagerly waiting for your next episode, enjoy your sail.
thanks such encouraging words
@@fullspinnakerahead You are most welcome. Just watched your next vid. Nice to see you have company, and an extra dog 🐕
Nice comments, all the best with your journey
Bloody outstanding effort, well done. Geeze, bugger about the drone. That soloar panel looks like a good landing pad??
the drone was a a bummer however DJI came to the party and replace it for under $300 when they relized l wasnt trying to tell them a story. Thanks for the comment
You have gotta watch the leads and be on the right alignment, when coming in the Lakes Bar, but lucky recovery,
lucky all right. Thanks
unquestionable swag
Whats that mean???
Ahhh, that's when I watched you live on AIS and Lakes Entrance webcams. Good to see it from your perspective.
Thanks next time
Hi Jens, you back in Metung? Would love to catch up and here your adventures. Cheers Andrew
Cool vid cheers
I watched you coming back into Lakes on the Gippland Ports Cameras on that very rough night, and mate, you scared me. Happy to see you get back out to sea and wait for conditions to improve, then get in safely
CHEERS BIG MISTAKE THAT NIGHT
Saw you begin your journey north this morning. Good luck and fair winds. Did you find any crew?
I hope all is going well for you. I saw you a few days ago in Lakes at the hotel jetty. I noticed Toucan had no mast at the time. Cheers, Andy
Nice Video, of my sailing ground, the Latrobe River swing bridge still opens 2 times a week to let boats in and out
Can you please go a bit slower when you make the drone go in circles as it make some people feel a bit dizzy and a little sick. Great filming though.
I know where that rock is at Deal island as I found and got a very very big crayfish there many years ago.
Nice video - thanks!
🌹 "Promo sm"
what does promo sm mean?
I watched you guys trying to get back into Lakes Entrance last night. What a nightmare having to wait all night in those big seas to get in later this morning. So glad you made it in safe and sound, cheers, Andy
I accidentally watched you come in on AIS and the Lakes Entrance webcam. looks like you tried early morning, but then succeeded around midday. Found this channel by the boat name. time to subscribe and watch more of your adventures.
wow in hindsight l should have waited
I used to have an office in Erith, but the Erith in South East London, UK.
London great times there 57 Sherrick Green Rd Erith Isand Tasmania office worth a visit
Very informative Jensy. Lovely looking spot. I think I'd call it cold rock.
Cold rock nice still a xxxxx rock when you stub your toe
Good work mate, enjoying the drone footage. I’ll have to see if my old Repco 10 speed is still a goer.
get it out . Have a happy New Years
Yes would have worked thanks
Could you use the winches to pull off the jetty?
Is the background music really needed?
maybe a better selection required
Check out Polyflex Australia. These couplings fit between the flanges (gearbox-propshaft) and make a soft connection that will fail before any damage occurs to the gearbox if you were to have a grounding or rope around the prop. As your engine mounts get softer with age the Polyflex will help with a small amount of misalignment. They also make engine mounts that are adjustable, no packers required.
Glad you got it sorted. Why boats don't have flexible couplings I don't know?
The mind boggles espeacially after going through the allignment procedure. I wonder about a failure of a universal joint in a boat could be catastrophic but never have had it happen in my car.
Fab boat.
thanks
Nice work Jen’s 👍
Thanks Andrew its been a while hope to make a few more with the up coming Tasmania trip
@@fullspinnakerahead when are you planning the trip to Tas ?
Love the channel 👍
