      My jaw dropped as I watched Tommy's transformation! The whole scene was incredible, but the moment I saw intelligence shining in Tommy's eyes - instead of his usual befuddled, open-mouth look - and his confident pose, arms crossed... my God, what a performance. 🎖

    Like the episode, _love_ the acting, but Jane getting Tommy because he knows the name of the ship in Moby Dick is flimsy writing at best. There is no reason this dude would not get off if he was arrested and the case went to trial. He didn't need to confess

      Why was he interviewed without a lawyer present anyway? But since this is a tv show it's safe to assume that Jane stroke enough of his ego for him to drop the act. Which is still silly, but it's a tv show so I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt since it did entertain me enough.

    • @patginty
      @patginty Год назад

      I'm guessing because he stayed in character even if "Thomas" knew that the best thing to do would be to ask for a lawyer. His arrogance that he was smarter than everyone else and that "Tommy" was his best protection was his undoing.

      He got what he want, everything after that was just song and dance. Like Belmont from castlevania once said "killing you was the point, living through it was just a luxury.". Plus, Jane recognized he was smart so as last act of gloating, he want them to know he was proud of doing it. Didn't you see the last bit? he felt remorseful too, that's why he accepted the punishment. The captain goes down with the ship.

      Tommy es retasado, y Moby Dick es un libro muy denso, los tontos no leen ese tipo de obras. Por qué un idiota como Tommy tendría ese libro en su casa? Porque no es tan tonto en realidad. También está la analogía: Cap Ahab dedicó su vida a cazar la ballena blanca Moby Dick ... y murió al final junto con la ballena. La venganza es cara.

    • @FlaskFlash

      @@efrenluisizquierdo5186 Te faltó comentar que Jane yerra deliberadamente el nombre del ballenero, al llamarlo "Pepod". El acusado le corrige instantáneamente y le dice que es "Pequod". This episode was like a movie Jane pretending to be a ghost back from the dead, the climatic scene of the shed burning down, the overall backstory of a friends betrayal, and the double twist of a “autistic” boy being behind behind the murders was unexpected but made sense. Beyond that Jane was extra badass in this episode, talking about he’ll cut red John open and watch him bleed out like his family, escaping a burning barn, and par for the course, figuring out what happened. This was a story about revenge and it’s drawbacks, something Jane figured out in the end. Ps: Rigsy was pretty cool too.
