GILA Railway is a 19 mile shortline railroad set in the fictional Southwestern United States. It rosters a small group of eclectic ALCO diesels and has two branches. The main branch extends from the Locomotive Shop at Salyer to the end of GILA trackage and an interchange with Falcon Mining at Whiskeytown. On the way are plenty of beautiful desert vistas from deep canyons to massive cliffs and bridges. In order to access the main freight yard, GILA must get permission from UP dispatch to cross the busy Diamond north of Salyer.
