In the forums they say that you can connect the audio cable to the speakers in the door, and not per se to the headunit. What do you think about this? And another question is regsrding the power: The Polo also has an battery under the trunkfloor, why didn’t you connect it to that?

Hellou, How to conect ambient lighting and control it via car multimedia?

I have the exact same car as yours. I did mine with a blue color but only had it in for a month or so. The power source were from the 12v lighter panel . It has a plug that connects to the lighter panel. The problem I experienced was the black adapter (which is on yours as well) got hot and started to melt and burnt. I didn't trust it ever since. Now looking at your setup where you connect it directly to the fuse is just as dangerous. If it gets too hot it'll damage your car. Worse cause it to burn.
