September 2016. Biked across Iceland on Kjölur highland route F35, then reached Mývatn and explored the surroundings. Geothermal areas: Hveravellir (Kjölur), Hverir (Námafjall) and nearby Grjótagjá cave. Waterfalls: Goðafoss and Dettifoss. Crater at the end: Hverfjall.

Yeah, strange choice to cut the clip before impact. But it was probably pretty dull, these are mostly metal-tourists...
@@yvindwahl8628 Hi there. I cut it because it had already conveyed the message. Like in a collision of galaxies, the two systems merged into a single spiral, but there was not much to see with the wide angle perspective of a mobile phone from distance and from the same plane. Also, I did not go around interviewing people asking if they were metal-tourists, but it's definitely a good suggestion 😆

@@yvindwahl8628 Cheers mate. My semi-ironic reply at the end was prompted by the fact that sometimes it feels that some music genre, but I'd say anything cultural, should exclusively be for their "inner circle". But it should definitely not be, I think. Festivals are and should be very inclusive, also if someone is not completely into that particular kind of music. All those people were enjoying the music and having fun, after all. And by the way the only tourists to disrespect are cruise-ship tourists.. hahaha 😉
@@argonk I mostly agree. But some shows are very heightenend when the audience feels more like a family than in individual in a crowd that feels very similar to one on a bus, or a funfair. At ToR hundreds of kids seemed to have showed up just to get the chance to be photographed when crowdsurfing. I actually have no problem with kids having fun, but the whole thing is so nutured, no one even tries to get up on stage, for example... And quiet, serious parts of songs are of course ignored, must be quite sad for the performers. Inclusion is sometimes a bit hard is what I'm sayin'! 😅
Poor pig .Nice and clear waters like the dive site.Same dive hood as mine defo keeps you warm . We divers cannot resist sitting on or in toilets or baths when we see them . I placed a Moai head in our dive site .divers where reporting they found a head 😂

Thanks, it was a great journey indeed. After that I had in mind to cross Iceland again from Mývatn to Askja and then around Vatnajökull via the Vonarskard Pass, then finish with the Laugavegur. It turned out to be too an ambitious plan for the second half of September... but I'll be back :)

@desaparecido74 No, è una normale foto/videocamera compatta legata in vita con due fasce derivate da portachiavi e del nastro telato. GoPro e simili comunque molto più adatte allo scopo (es. più grandangolo).
