What was the waterproofing you painted on it?
Hi there. I used a commonly available bituminous paint for roofing. Any type will do but you need to refresh it anual y and store your coracle under cover.

What happens when the barrel overflows, that whole corner becomes a sodden mess eventually the corner post loosens and the next storm takes away your tunnel.
You use it to water whats in the poly tunnel,think about it
Kind of a you problem that. Have overflow setup for that reason. Nothing to do with the gutters or are you used to some automatic gutter that pops up when needed only lol
