Fisher x-101 Stereophonic listening
Просмотров 3,6 тыс.9 лет назад
This Fisher x-101 Stereophonic was left alone during decades in an abandoned house. I pick it up very dirty and very rusty. I managed to bring it back to life after replacing all the electrolytic capacitors. I replaced the 7189s by russians 6P14P-EV. This video is one of its first listening test. The source is a cheap Marantz CD player (CD-38) and the loudspeakers are Elipson 502. The result is...

    Bonjour BeeWatch. Je suis entrain de fabriquer une machine à laver les vinyles en suivant ton exemple. J'aurais juste une question sur le coude en PVC que tu as utilisé comme bocal. Est-ce que les deux extrémités sont collés sur le coude ? Je veux dire par là les tampons de réduction ? Merci d'avance de tes réponses.

    • @BeeWatch
      @BeeWatch 5 лет назад

      Bonjour Eric, Les tampons aux extrêmités du coude qui sert de réservoir sont collés. Il faut prévoir un percement pour le vider de temps à autre. Perso, j'ai percé un trou de 3/4mm clos par une vis, que je devisse pour vidange.

    • @erickendo22
      @erickendo22 5 лет назад

      Merci de ta réponse rapide. Tu aurais une photo de ta vis ? Vis à bois ? Avec un joint ? Les tuyaux en caoutchouc tu les insert de beaucoup dans le coude ?

    • @BeeWatch
      @BeeWatch 5 лет назад

      De mémoire, le manchon côté bras d'aspiration est coudé vers le bas (90°, en interne), et côté moteur d'aspiration 2/3 cm droit. Prendre une vis pour châssis métal ou plastique.

      Perso j'ai une ancienne platine à galet et j'ai l'impression que lorsque la brosse est bien positionné le moteur n'est peut-être pas assez puissant pour tourner. Ton moteur était celui de la platine ?

    • @BeeWatch
      @BeeWatch 5 лет назад

      Non, c'est un moteur additionnel qui appuie sur le pourtour du plateau et qui l'entraine. Tout est décrit dans la description (voir lien).

    Please remain that not all Columbias are the same, this a french Columbia from 1958. French Columbia has nothing to do with American Columbia, French Columbia (as other european, asian or australian Columbias) were related to EMI & HMV. What I find wrong in you EQ setting is the bass corner, been very conservative, it should be on 50Hz, but if you want to risk a litlle bit more with rumble you can set on 0, without any problem because the original NAB curve has no bass corner. In any case, the sound from 300 Hz to the top end is really superb.

    • @BeeWatch
      @BeeWatch 5 лет назад

      Dear Pablo, Indeed, the old mono discs EQ settings are often tricky. I may used a wrong setting for this vidéo. Thank you for your advise. :)

      Julien Studer la spin clean fait de l’excellent boulot, vous essuyez légèrement avec les chiffons fournis avec pour retirer le maximum d’eau sur le disque et vous aspirer avec votre aspirateur avec un suceur large sur chiffon micro fibre. Vous obtiendrez exactement le même résultat et ce, même sur des disques ultra sales. Je fais comme ça depuis toujours et zéro craquements à l’écoute 👍🏻

    The Vacuum is not directly plug to the suction arm. There is a glass container in between to retains the liquid, as it don't go to the vacuum. You can see this container on my last video : ruclips.net/video/hUVAf_Jp_5g/видео.html (in the second part of the video @2mn30)
