Cory Goulet Pastel Abstract Demonstration
Cory's world explores the interplay of lines, shapes, and colors and finding beauty in repurposing. She aims to create a dialogue between chaos and harmony, inviting viewers to engage with the artwork in their own unique way. Through her use of bold colors and dynamic compositions, she seeks to challenge conventional boundaries and provoke introspection.

Aline Ordman provides Pastel Artists of Oregon with a demonstration on painting figures in a scene in this one hour video. Remarkable how Aline is able to distill the reference photo into shapes and puzzle pieces that pull together to create figures that feel an integral part of the scene.
You make it look simple and uncomplicated. I love the 4 S's

Quite well done! One suggestion….perhaps you could have started with a clear shot of your reference photo. Personally, I would take a screenshot of it and keep it visible on my iPad while I watched the video on my desktop. What are your four Ss? I missed them. Also, I never spray fixative on my finished work. I prefer to put them behind glass. But, during the interim, I simply cut a piece of acetate to fit the drawing (painting) and affix it with a tiny sliver of scotch tape at a couple of corners.
