too fast on your approach and you shouldn't be messing with the trim to land. The hornet lands with throttle controls only (You do it properly by feathering the throttle to maintain your glide slope and a speed of 120 knots) you should only use the stick to correct bank angle and use the throttle to control angle of attack/airspeed. The challenge gives you the proper configuration to land on mother with when it loads in because in the hornet, you do a flyover at 350 knots before entering the pattern in a 3.5g bank where youll deploy gear and flaps pretty much in the middle of the turn right before you hit 250knots to keep from gaining altitude while you start trimming the aircraft to land. Since this is already starting you after the base leg when you'd be configuring for landing, you dont mess with the trim or flap settings. Meatball, line up, angle of attack. The carriers lack of a proper movement model helps you a lot. This is way way way harder with a more realistic carrier movement when the ship is bobbing up and down and you need a fuck load more rudder input to land straight. Just my experience coming from DCS hornet to try MSFS hornet out.

My engines keep failing during approach in this challenge. Anyone know why that would happen? Nice landing for that high speed. landing smoothness is the multiplier so you could get up to 200x of the totals from precision and ground roll. You got 68x

i was curious on if the darkstar was in space in this vid and it was, space starts at 264000 feet in altitude and he went higher than that

I'm fairly sure that there used to be model cars and motorcycles on the desks in some of the Cabins on this level or the first surface level in the N64 version, but they are not present in this re-release...

Love the smooth cinematic shots, very nice. although the audio just completely kills it. like the little bass then the audio cuts out after each one leaving it in complete silence. deffo need audio work. but the edit was clean and the shots were good.
