Leveraging Siemens Simcenter CFD solutions to Analyze and Improve Heat Exchanger Efficiency
Heat exchange within a system of interest is quite common in many applications from various industries. Heat exchange is desired to cool down, dissipate energy, recover heat and pump the heat depending on the application. The efficiency of designed heat exchanging devices can be virtually validated by 3D component level, 1D system level simulations.
Please join us for our webinar in which we will demonstrate how Siemens Simcenter CFD solutions (STAR-CCM+, FloEFD, AMESIM, HEEDS) can be used to analyze and improve heat exchanger efficiency by optimizing the designs, lower the pressure losses, flow path arrangements etc.

Siemens CFD Solutions aimed for Aerospace and Defense Industry
Просмотров 4014 года назад
This webinar is designed to present how Siemens CFD solutions helped to overcome various real-world engineering challenges in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. With integrated CAD to solution in a single platform and built-in design exploration and optimization. Siemens Simcenter CFD users can go from looking at one baseline design to 100s or even 1000s of designs to drive the product innova...
Modeling Complex Motions for Effective Realism through Simulations
Просмотров 9604 года назад
Modeling of fluid flow around moving objects became so common in engineering simulations if the motion involves a single body moving in an easily prescribed manner. However, as engineers increasingly demand greater simulation realism, an effective approach to modeling multiple interacting bodies with arbitrary motion is required. This presents a major challenge for CFD engineers restricted to s...
Webinar: Aeroacoustic analysis using CFD
Просмотров 18 тыс.4 года назад
Flow generated or induced noise is very common in many applications of various industries such as Ground Transportation, Aerospace, Electronics Cooling, Building Environment, Marine and Power Generation. Usage of CFD analysis to understand noise source mechanisms and subsequent sound propagation towards noise abatement in these applications is gradually increasing with computing resources getti...
Webinar: Multiphase Flow Modeling Using CFD
Просмотров 12 тыс.4 года назад
Multiphase flows are widely observed in many industrial processes such as oil and gas, nuclear reactor technology, chemical process, food production, aerospace, and automotive industries. Accurate modeling of multiphase flows is a need to investigate and predict the detailed behavior of those flows in various applications. Clearly, there are some applications in which full-scale laboratory mode...
Vitals PLM Webinar - Erosion Modeling Using CFD
Просмотров 2,6 тыс.5 лет назад
Sand erosion in single phase and multiphase flow conditions is often observed in oil and gas transmission systems. Presence of sand in such systems is a concern which can bring serious problems and damage in valves, chokes, T-junctions, elbows, contractions, expansions and other pipe fitting. Some of the most vulnerable pipe fittings are those which change the flow direction such as elbows and ...

Thank you for your good tutorials. Can you please tell me how to check the quality of mesh in StarCCM?

Hi, I wanted to ask about the recommended far field position when simulating over the trailing edge of a wing. And also the minimum total time required for LES simulation. Thanks in advance.

To be specific, am using fluent, running Les model, then extract the acoustic noise based on the pressure fluctuation past the trailing edge.

So where can we find the tutorial or the case file? I really need the source file of the example of the ball moving in the pipe

I have a question, which is very relevant for the thesis I'm working on. I was trying to simulate particles blockage on a filter, with the DEM model, but even with the two-way coupling and particle's smoothing I wasn't able to get an effect of the particles on the flow. Now I'm trying with the DBFI model ( morphing DFBI ), inserting a sphere in the domain and subtracting it. I'm not able to visualize particle's movement though. What am I doing wrong? Was it feasible also with DEM?

Is there a step I'm missing between inserting the Lagrangian and injector data, running the simulation for 1 step and getting erosion results? where does the ECRC field function come from?

You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last few months =)
