what about the air filter. How do you change it? I have a 1997 Ford f800 box truck.

I also have a 3 point hitch spitter but fixing to install a engine, pump and tank Cost to much to run the engine and shorten its life 😮

THANK YOU!! Made life a lot easier with those micro switches. Have a used cart I picked up and all the wiring was ass backwards!!! It all works now wired just like yours. That bottom post is empty on mine as well. The second post was doubled up just like yours.That was about the only thing wired right! Thanks again! 10/19/24

Nice! I was most interested in how to replace the original "round" motor with the new ones that don't use the mounting bracket at the rear. Could "kind of" see that. Wondering if I can accomplish it without removing the regulator (i.e., only replacing the motor while the regulator is still in the door). I don't feel like drilling out the rivets if I don't have to.

From one Glenn Connor to another, I also have a Belarus 825 . Don’t know what year it is. It is a cab, but the AC doesn’t work and I have the doors off. Bought it used several years ago for $500. The tractor and I have been moving dirt for the last several days and I love the old tractor. Wish I could have bought it new. Hard working piece of equipment. Really like the way yours looks.

In 04 we started out full time RVing using the commercial plate hitch on our Volvo 660 and a 5th wheel trailer. Before the first year was out we had a RV style hitch. I had lots of issues unhitching and hitching back up when the truck and trailer were not on the same angle of grade in hilly RV parks or spots. I had to really hit the trailer hard a couple times to get the hitch to lock up in those places. The landing gear and frame of the RV trailers are built as lightly and cheaply as the manufacturers can get away with. Do this at your own risk.

Question I have the same engine but I have a problem it struggles to start but once it stars it’s good to go you can even turn it off as many times as you like it just struggles at the beginning any idea !?

Man struggling. I wired it exactly like you did. Verified multiple times. For some reason as soon as I put it in forward or reverse it takes off without hitting the accelerator pedal. Any thoughts?

I appreciate the video! Thank you for the details of how you did it. I’m considering something similar for my 5th wheel when I transition to full timing my rig. I’ve driven semis for a lot of years, and have my doubles/triples endorsement. As I have been researching this some people have said that all of the eastern seaboard states don’t allow a trailer behind a travel trailer. It seems the route you take pretty much keeps you in those states. What is necessary to operate your setup while traveling in those areas? The thanks in advance

I'm watching this because I'm a trucker. My boss has a 5th wheel camper..close to around 35'. It's in Florida, and he needs it brought up to ohio. He has a Denali 3500, but no 5th wheel. I'm wondering if we can haul it back with my tractor..(full sleeper) if I slide the 5th wheel all the way back?

Motor stuck in down position (Merc 115 Optimax) did hit the ramp coming out, but not bad. Got the boat home ... motor runs but will not tilt, suspect no/low fluid level. Cannot access the fill port and need to tilt motor up ... going to try this ..... Thx.

I have done this many times with no issues. With a tandem axle and the hitch slid to the rear. Now if I was planning on running that way all the time, I would use a hitch modified for hauling a draft arm rock bucket dump trailer instead of a dry box. That also limits the front and back tilt with a removable tilt pin.

Most all wheel drive can't be towed that way.

You said you put the LT on the trailer but move the ST trailer tires to the truck. So you put the truck at risk of having the blowout? I agree with the LT on the trailer but ST on the truck is crazy.

I think the holes you want to drill will eventually crack something.

Some of those commercials 5th wheels have adjustable locking for play in the pin and locking the 5th wheel in place is what you have to do with a walking dump trl.
