This is me performing the intro to "Can't Say No", the intro to "Can't Say No" with the chords underneath, and the intro to "Terrible Things", aka Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor in an attempt to be honored with a spot as keyboard player for her upcoming tour. It's always been a dream to actually do something worthwhile with music, and this could be it. Here goes nothin'!

This is about 95% of the last "encore" song that Lost In The Trees did. I put quotation marks around "encore" because they finished, left the stage, then came out, brought all their instruments down onto the club floor, set up, and just started playing - the few of us that were still there joined them to make a circle, and it was fantastic!

One of my favorite bands ever. Every time I've seen them on tour you can just tell they're having a blast with it. My favorite thing I saw on stage was when they all started piloting RC cars onto the stage while their warmup band was still performing. Colin's got stuck on a cable and flipped, so he ran out on stage to set it back on the wheels. Everyone was like.... "Wtf? Was that Colin Meloy?" The opener band seemed to have hard time not laughing while they were finishing up.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it in earlier comments (I can only take reading so many), but does anyone recognize Marcel Duchamp's work in this?! Check out "The Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even," on Wikipedia. As horrible as the meaning of some of the lyrics are, it just shows the genius of this group. It also reminds me of the "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" episode with Colin Meloy, where his lyrics were compared to another contemporary artist, Justin Bieber...
