The special credit. That coveted spot. The "and [name] as....." More prestigious than top billing. Usually reserved for that famous actor that came in and shot a few scenes to make the movie more awesome!! Only KONG deserves such a spot. The granddaddy of them all.

That's because I've always considered King Kong (who is from possibly my favorite movie ever) more like a Special Guest Star in the Godzilla franchise. Therefore, I chose to give him the Nick Fury spot. Bad MF enough to get special recognition, but not "Main Cast." Check out my revised version which technically has more Kong in it.

I know, right? My decision to do only kaiju who have appeared in Godzilla movies left me with a few extra spots. Frankenstein and Sanda were never included in Godzilla films and, when considering what non-Godzilla monsters got in the "special thanks" section, I thought long and hard....but chose not to include them. I had to leave a lot of Kaiju out, but I stand by my choices. If you have the means, I'd love to see a broader Toho version. I can point you to a few tutorials as to how to do it, it's a lot of fun! Also, check out my revised version (more HD shots, a few error-corrections, additional honorable mentions, etc).

Thankfully that's why we have movies (plural) ;)

Too bad there aren't enough in the MV to pull it off, at least I don't think so. A lot of them are so briefly shown and barley used.

Thank you very much! I'm currently making a second version with a few issues fixed and including a few monsters I missed or feel that at least deserve a mention....I'll share the link when it's done.

You made one too? Cool, I'd love to see it! I felt at the time that my MUTO credit met my MUTO quota. Should I have included Prime MUTO? Should I have included every single Mothra because technically there've been a dozen or so? These are the questions I had to ask myself. Who do I include, which monster versions do I show, are alternate/updated designs technically separate monsters or are they the same monster? etc. As for the non-godzilla monsters, I imagine no fan would be 100% happy with whichever 7 I picked for the place of distinction section (although I think I know which ones I would have chosen) so I decided to chose NONE of them, opting instead to pay tribute to both Godzilla's inspirations and famous...or infamous progeny.

@@jackestabrook Well, many the MUTOs, I've done was b/c I didn't want any left out, since each r like a partner of Batman, than many Batman or Joker's multiple different stories, like Mothra. Some I'd do separately on each 🎥, like I did Gigan in 72, then Kamacuras in 04, and Minilla in 67, etc. FYI. I also did many Kaijus, some that technically r Toho, or related 2 the other characters, and more. Ex. I added War of the Gargantuas b/c it's directed by Ishiro Honda. Ignored like Guilala, or Gamera b/c they ain't Toho or something like that. I hope u enjoy my video. @@williamsmith4414 oh Godzooky. Your shot choices are superb. Kiryu looks badass. We used the same Batra shot 😆 finding the clips really is the hardest part.

@@jackestabrook Indeed, it took about a year, due to timing, some classes I've been taking, etc. But I was able 2 complete it, and I am proud it it 2o. I'm glad u liked it. And quite proud of urs 2o.
