@WooHooLaLa they are out in the maternity ward with their other kids. Boer goats can only effectively feed two kids. We had several mommas have triplets so we take over to relieve the stress on the moms. But they are all healthy and feeding two other babies.

@karencafazzo8658 I hate to break it to you, but Boer goats are meat goats. We dibt eat them all the time, but that is what they are bred for. But on a lighter note, most of our goats do end up as pets or working as fire prevention brush clearing animals.

@Luca_Silvio to be fair, im not a coach or anything. I just do what works for me. But what I did was I started light and focused on the movement to make sure I could control the weight. After I felt comfortable with that I started finding a weight I could do reps with safely. Once that got easy, I would go up by 5 lbs. If I could not rep the new weight, I would go back down 5 lbs and just add a few more reps until I was able to rep out the addition 5 lbs weight. Slow and steady progress is how I did it. Hope that helps and keep after it!

@ColetteMaucourant The mother is fine, but these are meat goats. The moms can only feed 2 kids because they don't make a lot of milk. So if they have more than two babies, we pull off the extras from mom and bottle feed them. That way, mom doesn't get stressed out from trying to feed too many babies, and the kids all get enough to drink and don't have to fight for a meal. I hope that all makes sense.

@Natalieleu no this is milk replacer, like formula for baby goats. We only pull off the babies' mom can service. These are meat goats, so momma only produces enough milk to really service 2 kids. And we had lots of triplets this time, lol. When they are first born, we make sure they get some of moms colostrum but that's it. The formula is pretty good as far as nutrients go.

@Jazierbmq when they are first born, we fed them every 2 hours or so for about a week. Now they are fed 3 times a day.
