That’s almost 50’. Badass….

Feb. 14, 2024 update. I had a hip resurfacing procedure done to my left hip back in 2015 and so far all has been amazing. However, I can now begin to feel ever so slightly some stiffness and subtle pain that occurs after extensive use via surfing, snowboarding, working out etc. Lastly, it was the best decision I ever made to have the resurfacing procedure done and I would highly recommend anyone experiencing issues with their hips to research their options and have the procedure done sooner than later.

I just had this yesterday. In the UK. I have both hips for bursitis. 6months Right hip joint for arthritis 4 months and both knees. 12 months. Also shoulder joint. Last about 2 years. All injections have to be done 2 weeks apart. But it takes 2 mins and barely no pain. We are not allowed to drive for 24hrs after the injections.

Absolutely wrong position of the leg with a stretched capsule of the joint!!!

Had the steroid shot for bursitis hip pain no lie it hurt like hell will know in a few days right now I have a headache

I had this done twice and yes it hurts like he'll while they are doing it but it worked for me. First shot lasted 5 1/2 months, I am hoping the 2nd one last a little longer. My only side effect was severe migraine headache that lasted a whole day.

But no one paddled in.....

Hi Eric! You gave me the courage to have my first hip cortisone injection at age 51. It was life changing! I’m scheduled for my second one next week. I’m wondering how many you had? I know I need a hip replacement from years of competitive figure skating. I have a labral tear as well as moderate osteoarthritis etc. Did you get a hip replacement yet? I was supposed to get a hip scope years ago but never did. I think I can put it off for maybe another year or so.

ok I just freaked myself out watching this! I have a high pain tolerance but usually with procedures on my back etc I am not concious and now seeing you're awake etc...having it done in the morning and now scared shitless! Have had bone removed from one collar bone and it hurt for a yr afterward...have tats etc but this...I don't want to be awake for it lol

Yeah I have hip displasia and something wrong with my muscle. I’ve had many injections and cortisone shots. They aren’t as bad as this video makes it look. I’ve had 2 mris and going in for a ct scan. I’m 14. So if I can handle it you all can too!!❤️

I’ve had this done several times with anesthesia and with gas, no big deal BUT once it wears off, the pain seems worse than before. Has anyone else had this happen?

That needle hurts like hell....After the first shot, the second one , i was put to sleep....thank god.... and now I'm sore from the injections...

I had this today. Took less than three minutes start to finish. In the ten minutes they sat me down in a recliner to recover, have a cold drink, three more patients came out. Pain level....about a three. Didn't hurt after. Piece of cake. Six hours later, it is starting to get sore now. Very Survivable. I broken my arm in seven places few years back, snapped off shoulder ball, spun it 180%. I now rate all of my life pain to that... Lol.

It hurts like hell!! I had it done 3 days ago! They told me it would pinch a little! Ha! When I finally recovered from the pain I left the department with totally soaked hair from perspiring due to the pain! It takes a while for my body to numb up- that may be the reason I was InSo much pain... maybe there was some other reason mine was so painful...waiting for the results!

Update: I ended up having my hip resurfaced instead of doing a full replacement. Best decision I ever made and today I feel 100%.
