The only way to really get a good box online is buying an entire case. It's likely the individual boxes showing up on Amazon or TCG Player is coming from a case where somebody opened the case, opened 1 or 2 boxes, and struck gold, and then sold what was leftover. They sell the remaining 4 or 5 boxes that came out of that case, which statistically speaking aren't going to have as good as of odds to be "grand slam" boxes. LGS's are less likely to due this practice. For example, I opened an entire case of this product a few days ago, and the average market value pulled from the 6 boxes was about $373. However, that average was skewed from box 1 which had about $520 in singles when tallied up. So the other boxes weren't nearly as hot, and likely, that is what makes it onto the online market more often than not. The "leftovers". At least that is my experience with opening these MH2 collector boxes.
