This was her best performance. She used to say shortly after her time on idol that the producers really had to force her to be the rocker edgy one...this is one of the few times when the producers were totally right though. If she kept this up it could’ve been a Blake, Jordin, Gina, Melinda top 4 with the rest being anyone’s game.

I never seen this.. was a big surprise.. needed to listen to Carrys version to but this was the best cover of this song i ever heart. Well... no one ever can beat Ann Willson. This song was wrote for her... she lived it. Its always a risk to pick this cause people think its enough to let it out... its not.

this is actually one of the best vocal performances ever on Idol.

Just saw her at the Patchogue Theater yesterday in "Ballroom" with Von Smith. They were fabulous. So glad I saw the show. The dancers were fantastic too.

Her voice is way too powerful for a song like this. Amy's voice is soft, emotional, has a certain spirit with it. The only way an Evanescence song really sounds right is with Amy's voice. She puts so much emotion into it. But this girls voice is nice too. Just the wrong song.

Actually, no they're not. Amy says she LOVES it when fans sing their songs, express their passion, find meaning in the music. She doesn't care if it's good or bad, she just wants rock music to find its place in people's hearts! That's what music is all about: creativity and expression! Thank you Gina, for spreading a little Ev into this close-minded world of ours.

She has a beautiful voice but not for Amy Lee/ Evenescence songs. Amy Lee is unique and no one can sing like her.

Very interesting take on the song. Rock is VERY hard to sing. And Amy Lee has a very unique voice. There is only one.

The background Singer is too shrill and LOUD and sounds like she's competing with her as opposed to singing in the background.

A good singer knows what note to hit and where they're going from there. At least 3 measures before they get there. She sounds like (especially on the holds) shes singing scales until she finds a note that might work. Learn music theory, then come back and try to sing.
