    First of all, great video as always. That shack looks awesome! Light, great layout and gets you out of the wind. As far as the forward facing sonar, anyone who has been fishing with this sonar knows that it is undeniably and different universe of fishing using that technology. Watching the fish respond to the bait is as close to using a camera that you can direct 150 ft in any direction it is the definition of the term Game Changer. Only issue I have is when Wiebe is saying that it is the future of fishing and that he can see a time where you can't legally fish without one. I love Wiebe but that is a bit too reactive for me. I think kids should be able to have a rod and a bike/sled and be able to fish. For Aaron to suggest to ppl that they have to spend over $3,000 just to start fishing is insane. Keep it up Winnesota. I always learn something watching your videos. Thanks for posting

    A friend of mine years ago lived in a little neighborhood in Lakeland, FL that had this little pond. I went over to his house a week or two after he got settled in. He was using worms catching little bass. I busted out a rattle trap and proceeded to catch multiple crappie that had to be over 2 lbs. Those were the biggest crappies I've ever caught or seen. I think he wound up pretty much cleaning that pond out of crappies.

    My lead acid battery was used for cranking and for my trolling motor. The problem was that old 1969 Evinrude 25hp doesn't charge the battery. Plus the battery is about 8 years old. I recently bought an 18hp manual pull start motor and a fish finder. I decided to buy a 100ah Lithium battery for my trolling motor and my graph. Best decision ever! Now I can go for days between charges, instead of charging every time I get home from fishing!

    • @winnesotafishing
      @winnesotafishing 2 месяца назад

      Yes a wood stove will heat it. The only issue I have run into is constant heat overnight while camping. Obviously as the fire burns out it cools down and I have to wake up and put more wood on the fire every two hours or so. I am experimenting with pressing sawdust into bricks to see if this will help with this issue.

    I have 24 volt for trolling motor and other 12 volt for dash lithiums I run 12 volt lead acid for the 70 hp yammy I travel from Florida summer to Massachusetts then back to Florida winter I fish down and back taking a month each way. I tow with a B+ RV. The goog thing about the lithium is that I can fish three weeks with them no trolling without a charge, The bad things about lithium, dont get them wet a half inch of water in the battery box will kill the battery dead will not take a charge not covered under warranty this happen twice with my 24 volt Dakota Lithium. The 12 volt Dakota I use for the dash mostly two fish locators for no reason went to with volt meter point five o .50 volts had to jump start that 12 volt lithium with a 12 jumper box to get the battery management system inside battery to allow the battery to take a charge seen on you tube . You CANNOT ship a lithium battery back to the place of purchase for warranty consideration in order to do the shipment you by law have to have a has mat dangerous no air freight stickers that third person cannot get tried five times five different shipment places battery was returned to me at my house in Massachusetts I of course was in or on the way to Florida back up lead acid batteries are a must. Got to say thou Jacob Piety <support@dakotalithium.com was a super great person to help me. If it wasn't for him I Would Not be with lithium but for his outstanding help I Would recommend lithium. Hope all the lithium suppliers are as helpful.
