That's fine but its not a B chord in the song. It's actually a Badd9 which sounds much different and fits the song better.

try this.. the B chord can also be done in this way.. 1st string 2nd fret.and the 2nd,3rd and 4th string 4th fret.. try it and tell me..

Man, I really can't find another way to do it. If its hard, just keep trying. It will get easier I promise.

Ltrainblues, yes it is standard tuning. Muting comes with practice. just be sure to use your palm when muting and different guitars sound differently when muting also.

Thanks alot. I've been playing for a little over 4 years and consider myself a beginner because there is so much i don't know and can't do. My advice is start slowly and do it until you get it right. I have practiced songs for months just to get it where i think it should be. I will slow some down, i thought about that after the fact. and thanks again and keep practicing.
