Hi i'm viatron from Sheffield, when the very legendary Bristol KSW5G half cab double deck buses had featured in the three On The Buses films from 1971 to 1973 what had included Reg Varney as Stan Butler & Bob Grant as Jack Harper & the very mean bus inspector known as Blaky who did very strict things to them both in the fictitious bus company known as Town & District Co Ltd back in the day of comedy. But I'd still remember in the 1971 spin off via using very old women bus drivers who did drove the E.C.W. lowbridge bodied Bristol KSW5G half cab double deck buses in the film. But both Stan & Jack decided to make the women bus drivers unwelcome such as trapping one of them in the drivers cab, erecting fake DIVERSION signs onto lampposts, putting loads of spiders in the drivers cab also in another one, putting diuretic tables into their cups of tea via making them go to the toilet every five minutes & ending with one of them being DIVERTED onto the M1 MOTORWAY heading North. So thanks for your co-operation on this very special On The Buses comedy films from 1971 to 1973 from David Viatron Esquire of crookes in Sheffield.

But in the current latest bus video by someone else via being acquired by the Museum of transport in Manchester just recently via replacing the original leyland 4-cylinder petrol engine & the leyland GB9 4-speed constant mesh gearbox with a leyland 0.400 6-cylinder diesel engine & a leyland 4-speed synchromesh gearbox from a leyland Comet lorry via making it complyable for the CLEAN AIR ZONE! within the centre of Manchester in the latest news report from David Viatron Esquire of crookes in Sheffield.

Great video. Thanks. Somehow the engine sounds different to what I remember. I lived in Birkenhead most of my life. Number 75 from Prenton Dell Road to Woodside every day for years. Is this the original engine type, or is my recollection away with the fairies ? DON'T answer the latter point !

Man, finally an airport Bus that looks really good! This Bus looks so similar to the NABI 700SE Buses. The Bus Company Volánbusz in Hungary, had 2 NABI 700SE Buses in county Pest, JDY-843 and JDY-844. They were built in 2004, the only problem with them was that they were a bit too small, but other than that it was great to ride with them.

Hi i'm viatron from Sheffield, via the mistake when I'd looked at this video & discovered it wasn't a daimler cvg6 from Leeds corporation? But was in fact a leyland Farrington lowbridge bodied titan pd2/1 from West riding automobile co Ltd from Wakefield & I'd also notice it doesn't have a daimler/Wilson 4-speed pre-selector gearbox but instead it has a leyland half constant mesh on 1st & 2nd & synchromesh on 3rd & 4th gears. Nice, not sure if your aware but SN16 ORX and SN16 ORZ and SN16 OSU and SN16 OSP and SN16 OSR are now with Stagecoach South West in Exeter Devon. The only ones in the new livery are currently SN16 ORX and SN16 OSR and SN16 OSU

I love the sound of the Routemaster. I remember that poster at the front too stating 'avoid the rushes'. 53 and 180 were my local routes. I remember the Leyland engine ones too with throaty roar, a great sound, not to mention the Gibson ticket machine and bell ringing. I had friends come over from France and they were astounded by the Routemaster, as they were world famous and travelling on them was a great experience to them. They don't make like that any more!

Believe 6015 was built before the other examples hence the different interior does look more Arriva like, all were dealer stock bought as part of the deal for the StreetDecks at Green Lane.
