The Roxy is interesting because while being a hot pickup, it doesn’t loose and edge. It slams the from end hard and keeps things tight. Gain without clarity isn’t especially useful

I have this same amp. Do you find on yours that you have to turn the preamp all the way up for it to stay thick? If you go down to say like 6 it gets thin and sharp loses bass. As long as my preamp is all the way up it sounds good.

I think if I end up removing more stock pickups, then I’ll buy yours since the Suhrs are more expensive and I wanna use something that not as many have heard of yet as it sounds good.
