@@excaliburmason5180 i have incisus and nicodemus both at silver aaannd nico has just been more consistent. he heals everyone a bit in base contact and can still directly heal 1 character the same turn which makes him ideal. incisus can out-heal him when he applies his heal ability, but you only get 1 use with his active to heal everybody. Incisus can also res someone once a turn if they go down without being overkilled. tl,dr: nico is more consistent, but incisus can still be useful, can also farm incisus shards

@@Johnbeardshall-m8r it would have been nice bringing Angrax and Archmatos along instead of Macer and Corrodius for this, but Black Legion has their own campaign so I think, thematically, thats why we can't bring them: they've been stuck sieging Cadia for the past 25 years XD

@@FripFrops88 yes! the devs confirmed the issue is purely visual and restarting the game should show the shards you've farmed

Also, who do you recommend leveling from the world eaters for the death guard campaign? They all seem pretty lack-luster aside from (I’ve heard) Kharn

@@mrsweeney34 thank you so much for being here! I really appreciate this comment. I've noticed a lack of regular content as well so i'm trying to fill in the gap. I dont know what partnerships the other creators have so I can't comment on that, but I tend to enjoy the vids by Nandi, TechPriestFred and Tacticians United. @@mrsweeney34 Wrask for sure! at the start of the battle teleport him in at base contact with everyone and they all get a shield. then he grants a shield every time he defeats an enemy. THEN after he's taken some hits use his Active to chop and clusters of enemies: he does more hits with the Active the more hits he takes so save it for like turn 3 or 4 hope it helps!

Need part two asap lol. Cawl is way too powerful to hit without a plan

@@TheElderPETE i really appreciate the response! in a way, i was offering it as advice since it's working for me at the moment and i don't have the best characters unlocked/ leveled. i felt this video was needed to help explain that and, you're right, it probably should have happened before this vid; i'm still working out the kinks in my channel :)

I personally appreciate those new players with their videos and takes as content creator. They play fun little combos, use rarely seen characters because they look cool to them, think outside of the meta box. I'd take 10 videos showcasing fun teams and thematic combos over a single meta guild raid team guide, tbh. Minmaxing is fun with the numbers, but playing those non-meta combos and using characters that you find fun is where the heart is at.

@@TechPriestFred I would agree with you if that was just a sort of showcase or little vid saying "hey look at my team, it's fun and the numbers aren't that bad" but it's not the case, it present itself as a guide, a guide should be about meta or semi-meta team, about numbers, a guide isn't something saying "hey that's fun" I'm in a top 50 guild raid and war, a lot of my guildmates use non strictly meta team because they find it fun, and indeed you're right it can be fun and it's where the love of the game is, but none of them pretend it's a good thing to do number wise

@@TechPriestFred what I was pointing out and found funny here is that of course not everybody, especially new players, do research on the meta of a game or watch content about it, but for someone to post content themselves of that game you would think they're indeed knowledgeable about it as well as looking at the other established creators in the community I wasn't trying to diss him, just to tell him that if he's looking for numbers (which a guy posting guide suggests) he should look up what the actual meta characters can do

But if you wanted to go for something a little more fun and lore wise, space marine themed I would replace Baraquael for Ancient Thoread or Bellator and Saraquael for Eldryon. Ancient Thoread will give the extra hits to both Mataneo and Lucien, as well as the extra jump packers which can do some okay damage? Also he's a campaign character so you will get some guaranteed value. And Bellator and Eldryon, Bellator gets the damage buff 6 times and so do all his summons. Thaddeus doesn't need to be buffing anyone to be good, his damage is really good by itself and the 3 range means you can always put him on high ground for the 50% damage increase.

thank you very much for the advice! Eldyron... i see her everywhere i go XD. i'm just starting to level up my Eldar and Orks so I can progress the Octarius and Saim Hann campaigns. I plan to start unlocking my Black Templars so I can get the Ancient. Then with the Eldar campaign i can farm resources for my Dark Angels. i'll probably stick with Imperial characters as thats my fav faction, but in a couple months i should have more characters. ty!

I've found boss summons don't do enough damage to bother with, i just ignore them at all levels and concentrate on the boss

My first D3 was eldryon, and his pasive is lvl 50, with ragnar are above +800X10... + 8000 per attack

And always You can get hight ground for 50% more damage, i believe is 50% more
