I absolutely love the Cote Des Roses

I bought a bottle of Bertrand Cote Des Roses Rosé. It tasted like liquified cardboard. It was actually the worst wine I have ever had.

Hi Simon, I have a question about the concept of average age increase when it comes to Solera aged brandy. When people say this brandy is 30 years old on average, is that a weighted average? For example, if 100ml of 40y.o. is blended with 900ml of 20y.o., does that count as 30y.o.? Or does it have to be like 100ml of 50y.o.+300ml of 10y.o.+400ml of 55y.o.=average of 30y.o. (I know those aren't Solera proportions but it makes for a clean weighted average)? Thanks!
