Wow. Thank you for such a great overview of the zone. Your imagery fuels the imagination for phase 2 of the trail. I had a pretty good idea but this definitely has a bunch of features we hadn't seen!
Amazing work on the trail Randy! Time didn't permit more exploration but I'd like to investigate that little body of water just SW of the viewpoint next time.
@@miked9102 I'm not totally sure, but I think it's what feeds the dog water stream. It's on the list, because we have found that the stream will be bone dry in the morning, but has flow 2-3 hours later on egress from work on the trail. Thanks again!
There are bears around this area. During the salmon spawn, they can be seen along the river. Some folks carry bear spray or bear bangers to deter bears in case they become aggressive. It's always a treat to see wildlife in a natural habitat!
I don't know enough about it, but I shot this footage mid September a few years back. I'm pretty sure it's canola. Theyswath it into windrows after the flowers are gone and it has produced seeds. Then it dries in windrows until they combine it. Later on down the line the seeds are pressed to extract the oil.
@@miked9102 yeah i used to harvest about 1000 acres of it per year, and i was the guy in the swather cutting, this stuff just is way greener than its supposed to be when cutting but if you have frost coming you need to lay it down quickly
They have to cut it first. Then it dries. Then the combine. Modern agriculture is a multi step process requiring a variety of techniques and equipment. These machines require fuel and our current government is intent on paralyzing Canadian food producers. Even fertilizer will become contraband as our quest to destroy the food chain moves forward. Scenes like this will become history as we move into the new normal of lab grown food.
@@miked9102 true, and then people wonder why everything is becoming more and more expensive at an alarming rate... it's one big cycle... the government doesn't care about the people
It's called the jello effect. It happens with hi res drone videos when the micro SD card can't process quickly enough. In these severe cold conditions, the gimbal dampeners stiffen up as well. The DJI mini 2 is an outstanding microdrone! Flying in these conditions is beyond any intended specs or designs.
Yes I'm sorry I got the date wrong. I was up late editing footage. I posted the amended version this morning. I use copyrighted music in my videos. My channel isn't monetized so RUclips lets it go. I thought trucker music might be fun. Sorry if it wasn't to your liking. You can mute the sound on any video.
