We are an active, family oriented, Southern Baptist church serving Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Raleigh and surrounding areas of Wake County, North Carolina. Please join us in-person or via live-stream for good worship and fellowship. Our weekly worship service is held at 11:00 AM Sunday. We look forward to seeing you.

Summary of Sermon
In Luke 6:20-23, Jesus pronounces blessings on those who face hardship and suffering, such as the poor, hungry, and those who mourn or are persecuted for their faith. He reassures them that their suffering will be rewarded, as God's kingdom belongs to the poor, and those who weep or are excluded for His sake will experience joy and fulfillment. Jesus encourages them to rejoice, as their reward in heaven will be great, just as the prophets were similarly treated in the past.
