This video is what got me to experiment with stop motion photography. One of the best animated music videos out there. Most excellent, your hard work paid off!

Such a modest visionary. Gabriel illustrates how one man with a clear vision can effect change. He seemed to understand that technology as a tool can be used by the 'average' man to create change and make more than just music. He had an idea of a 'visual language' would evolve into the connectivity of the internet. Peter Gabriel stirred the pot of creativity even into 2024.

I had to watch the little "Special" three times in a row. 😊 Really great. Peter and his smile....He is simply lovable and has a totally likeable nature. Just Peter ❤

I hope AI upscaling gets good enough to make a crisp 4K version of this one day soon.

Gabriels song Secret World summed up my divorce and the time leading up to it perfectly. Some of the imagery was so close to the truth it was quite incredible. For example the line “In this house of make believe, divided in two like Adam and Eve” describes our house leading up to divorce. Very sad, very powerful, and my favourite song of all time.

I heard that the video took just 7 days to make and they worked for up to 16 hours a day. The only other music video to completely blow me away like this one, was Take on Me.

I knew from the moment I noticed the date that I had to click on this immediately! I turned 17 the day this interview came out, yet this completely was hidden from my view until over a week after my 30th birthday of all things (It was last Sunday lol) Also, hard to believe it was Dolly Parton in that last song clip, if that was indeed her that is, and if so, my word...

A great, interesting interview with Peter. Very intelligent, this man - and I just like the way he talks. Thanks. For me personally, "Us" is a very nice album. I always enjoy listening to it on headphones. To this day I love his music, his lyrics, his voice and his extraordinary music videos. ❤

Two immense talents, that both had very successful careers. Phil Collins sold more albums, however I gravitated more toward Peter Gabriel throughout the years So was arguably the greatest albums of the '80's and among the greatest of all time.

So painfully obvious this was done with a single camera, and the questions were shot separately, probably without Peter even being in the room. JD's working so hard to seem natural it hurts. Has an SCTV feel to it.

Gasparian released an album - "Black Rock" i think, circa 1997 on Peter`s Real World Records - an album with Michael Brook. I could be wrong, but i think Gasparian was not involved in "Passion" - the booklet will mention names like "Antranik Askarian" and "Vatche Housepian" - a recording from "Ocora records", as i remember - (i need to check the booklet once again myself).

Thank you! I’ve been searching forever it seems, because I distinctly remember Joan Osborne and Natalie Merchant singing with Peter in the 1996 timeframe. The internet has made me feel like I imagined it till now.
