Hi this video gave me so much inspiration I just got a TLS cheap and the j35 has a lot of leaks so I’m thinking of going this route. Can you tell me if this is a direct swap over and was the J37 from a 4th gen TL or MDX? Also for reference mine is automatic, hope to learn more about this build

Because all this rubber seals did not mixed enough silicone with Neupren , that why rubber get hard when heats and cold environment, in the long run rubber become fragile and brittle. In the 80's and 90's manufacturer used to use gasket paper than seal with silicone tube , it last with out leaks 500K miles even 800k miles , Honda used this rubbers seals that why it leaks pre-maturely in 200k miles , rubber doesn't have enough silicone mixed inside rubber to stay soft , you need neupren with silicone from avoid harden from heat and cold environment , no wonder Honda leaks everywhere, it make to breaks , if it don't leaks than make it leaks or break

The 3.7 bolted right up ?? Did u have to do anything extra for it ?

Should get the Internets panties in a bunch 😅 I would have one request and that would be to keep it as fair as possible and have you retune for each manifold since the only slight variance here was the car was fully the tuned and dialed in for the SMP manifold which could have been good for a couple WHP/WTQ, then you swapped the Neo on without retuning (essentially on the smp manifod tune). That slight variation in flow could have skewed thr AFR's one way or another and accounted for thr 4-5whp difference. Outside of that, great video and you did a great job being as objective as you could 🤙

Don't try to preload a factory-stall torque converter, especially since you're AWD. Just stomp it so it flashes to the highest RPM it's made for.

Quick question bro, I have a base TL with a blown engine, I wanted to put a type s 3.5 in it and use ktuner or hondata to make sure it all comes together with the base ecu. I noticed you said you had a base but the type s is better for swaps? If I plan to tune it can I just swap a 3.5 or 3.7 into my base? It's an 07

Thanks for another great video! Found out my water pump is also leaking when going in to replace my oil seal on the 3.7. I noticed the AISIN kit WP gasket is noticeably thinner than the OEM Honda that I just ordered (pump part itself is identical though). So next time I do a Honda V6 timing belt service I will definitely be ordering at least the WP gasket from Honda!

That 370 run was good and the 3.0t Infiniti even if you gave them the jump I’m sure you’ll still gap.. curious to see what these thing end up doing with alittle more mods .. the 2.0t accord wonder if he was break boosting or very little turbo lag from the jump but 400 plus to the wheels he should be able to pull ahead quickly but overall good runs great content 💪🏿💪🏿
