I've been thinking about how I was gonna go about making this video, and I guess just how to word things, but nonetheless, we're gonna get it sorted out, and continue the regular program lol. As far as the bike goes, I'm fairly certain its something to do with a bad battery. I've had to jump it since I've bought it if it sits 3 plus days.. no biggie! A...

A "hot" Night of Riding... but TONS of Fun (MOTOVLOG 31)
Im thinking about going DJI aswell. My hero 10 overheats and dies quick. Mind you, it overheats in 30 degree weather, and it won't start with less than 35% battery in cold weather. So ehh, I'm most likely changing it up
Haven't ridden in a couple months, and i wanted top enjoy this cooler weather, so I went to start the bike up and the battery is dead 🙄
@@adamjoseph6122 😂😂😂 the worst!! Be safe out there boss man!!
Getting me one in November for my first motorcycle on city and for work riding right now no faster then 50 and bo highway and to learn the. Upgrade when i get ised to it
Let’s see some trail runs
Hell Yeah! Grom is always the answer, but for real... my DRZ really does everything, torque, cheap, easy to werk on, fuckin' tank, etc... I can hit highways with the DRZ, where the Grom it can be done, but not safely. I'm short so the DRZ is a bit of a struggle and it's heavy for what it is, but for a first bike, I agree, you can't go wrong with a DRZ!
Height is one thing i entirely forgot to mention that's a solid point, thank you! End of the day i would still 100% recommend someone go out and buy a Grom as well, you can't beat up either of the two very much if you tried 🤣
@@NoersOn2 Yeah, I'm only 5'6" and I'm tip toeing on that MFer🤣 They make lowering links for them though, so if someone short wanted to be more comfortable on it, they could make it werk🤘
Totally with you on the group ride thoughts! I love them, but the risk/reward just isn't worth it. On the uploads, at least one a week made a huge difference for me last season. Slacking this year, but just that couple months of consistent uploads helped a lot on the YT metrics and for me just getting in the flow of getting it done.
@@GromBeardo entirely agreed! I have a blast every time i attend one, but like you said, it just isn't worth it to me! Appreciate the input brother! I think I'm gonna stick to one upload a week, maybe two on occasion, but just be more consistent with it. Thanks for the two cents on everything brother!!
Bought my grom a month ago already got a 5th gear whine im regretting getting it and not going with a bigger bike like a zx6r
I personally like the parts where you are riding around what looks like sand springs. I would like to know what roads those are.
@@seanv6711 check out Old North Road, and Wekiwa! Both have been on the channel a handful of times, beautiful roads that are also in great shape!
What up! I recognize that road 💯
stay to the right at traffic lights it should work for most
i want to grow up and be a sadboi content creator one day you're crushing my hopes and dreams :(
@@BlueDevilMoto 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So how are you liking the DRZ compared to the grom. I currently have a Duke 390 but had a mini moto previous that was a blast. I’ve always wanted a drz but so tall to get my leg over. Trying to decide between switching to a grom or biting the bullet on a drz.
@@davevieth8266 dude i love it!! In my opinion it was the perfect upgrade from the Grom, having not owned anything bigger prior to that. At first it was a bit intimidating just because of how tall it was but i got used to it quickly! Just to give you some sort of idea, I'm 5'10 and i can almost flat foot it with one foot down. It was really just the weight and center of balance of the bike that took the most getting used to for me!
That’s awesome. I have had a thing for the DRZ for a long time so once my Duke sells it will be time to bite the bullet I think
Just seen your video and noticed you in Tulsa! That’s what’s up. I work in Tulsa but stay in Jenks. Make more content man!
@@landeRUCK haha appreciate it brother!! Got some stuff coming next week! 🤙🏼 been so dang hot, it's been hard to find motivation to get out in it 🤣
BETTT THATS MY CITYYYY HMUUUUU
Bro said you peak out on 65-70 with a stock sprocket and setup on the grom 💀I have a 2023 and just got its record of 60 with the stock set up (im 140lbs, was fully tucked, down a hill, and had been trying for months)...
6.6k 22 grom here. grom still fun
You're gonna have to step it up, son! @paulsohard has set the bar pretty high for dumbfuchs on supermotos🤪🤣🤣🤣 Glad to see you back outside!
🤣🤣 he's gonna be a tough one to top that's for sure!! Appreciate the love man! I'm stoked to be back at it!

Cruise My booii
Same difference my booii
You need to do a crews with the E36’s through tulsa
I want one!
Put this think in neutral it’s a stroke of luck.
You just admitted you don't daily ride your grom so this vid means nothing !!!
Traffic light sensors are not weight based. Check in the road for a line cut into the concrete where there is a thin wire embedded. It goes to an electronic sensor. I've never had trouble tripping the lights on my Grom, just stop on or near the line.
Couldn’t tell really how steep the road was but don’t forget if u got a hill around you you can always bump start it.
That definitely crossed my mind half way up that hill or so but then the thought of it not starting and having to push it from the bottom all over again also crept in my head 🤣🤣🤣
@@NoersOn2 for sure lol. Did you figure out why it was dying?
@@scrubdaddy785 threw a new battery in it and that seemed to be the fix, i let it sit for 3-4 weeks with little to no gas and i think it gummed up the carb/floats a bit, just still waiting to figure out what's next as far as getting the thing plated and legal lol.
That little thing was just plowing through bumps and potholes while he was one handing and taking both hands off the bars. I'm impressed
Im either buying a used grom here in a few weeks, or a new one if one i have my eye on gets sold lol
EXACT same thing when I bought the Daytona. Seller from TX never signed it into their name. Took 6mos to get the title…
Ahh don't tell me that 😂😂 unfortunately I'm afraid that's the way it's going to be since I'm dealing with state now.. about to miss prime riding weather 😭😭
What did he yell at 5:52 ?
Happy to see you back, hope you get the bike sorted out without too much trouble!
What bars are you running?
Those were the Protaper KLX110 bars!
Bros i weigh 230lbs and can't even go past like 57mph on flat road on my 2023 grom. Is that normal?
I’ll sub
Man, Im seventy and I ride a 500 rebel. But I want a Grom man. Looks like a lot of fun. Your Amazing.
So crazy to see how wide of a viewing audience I've got! I appreciate that man, once you go to the mini's you'll never look back!! Too much fun 🤣🤣
Sumo is Life, but man... no Grom😭 You'll be back, you a mini boi at heart🤪 It is nice having a bike that you can actually get somewhere fast though🤣 Congrats on hitting 1K, seems like that hurdle takes forever to get over! Spring will be here soon! Hope to catch you outside this season!🤜💥🤛
I will most definitely miss the Grom, i know after a bit I'll get another itch for one again! 🤣 nothing compares to those mini vibes those things have to offer!! I appreciate it brother! Excited to see what you got coming this year! 🤙🏼
Hey how tall are you I’m wondering if i would be fine I’m like 5,8 ish
5'10, you should be just fine on one! I'd recommend just going to try and sit on one at a dealer or somewhere if you can!
I'm 5'6" 30"inseam. Kinda on my tip toes, but it's manageable! Only ever really a pain when I get on or off it, then I realize how short I am🤣
@@GromBeardothanks for the reply love your vids im playing on getting a oil pump from you later on
@@noahrides3725 Oh shit! Cool! Thanks for watching!🤜💥🤛 Grom is the way! 😁
Its winter... i wanna ride my grom... but this helps! Definitely subscribing!
Hyped for you dude! The sumo is a perfect fit for you!
I’m more of a cat guy myself
subscribed; i appreciate level headed grom riders. the size, mpg, obtained speed and price can’t be ***** with period. and guys like you get it
Thank you sir! I hated to see that thing go, maybe I'll snag another one day, had loads of fun on that little thing, one of the best bangs for your buck out there in my opinion! Appreciate the sub my guy!
I'm on my second DRZ (it's the same exact year and color scheme, 1st bike was a 2001 S model) and they are great bikes. It'll do just about anything you ask it, I've taken mine on 300+ mile day trips, I've beaten the shit out of it running 75+mph on a 13 hour trip in 113 degree heat, taken weekend trips across the state of Texas on it, I have gear to camp off of mine, I've stunted it a little, used it as a commuter and a grocery getter and there is practically nothing it won't do. Would highly recommend you get a set of case savers on there, if you drop it without them and your shifter punches a hole in the case you're gonna have a bad time. Get yourself a pair valve block off plate for when you do the 3x3, jet kit and exhaust. As far as exhausts go, I have the fmf q4 on mine, had the yoshi rs3 on the old one, and if I had to do it all again I'd get the rs2. The q4 is nice, especially if you actually ride enough to get annoyed by a loud exhaust but the build quality is just not as good as yoshimura and it takes longer to get the q4. If you don't know about the DRZ400 companion app, it's a super nice reference to have on your phone for maintenance and it's free. Scott from Link's Garage on youtube has better maintenance videos than anybody else around Hope something in here is useful for you, cheers!
This was a super helpful read, thank you!! I was looking into the Barkers a bit because i had seen he (Links) had went that route but for an extra $100 it may be worth buying the Yosh! Is there any good reputable brands selling case savers for these things? I'm definitely learning as we go but I'm excited to dive into a new platform!
@@NoersOn2 the go-to for case savers used to be Thumper Talk, from what I understand they briefly stopped making them (I think?) but i'm pretty sure you can find them again now with a google search. Do yourself another favor and use *clear* RTV when you install them so if a little bit of it is visible it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Also if you didn't know this, there will be a small, sharp ridge on your factory shift lever. Sand that guy down a little I've seen MRD and Barker's exhausts in person and the quality seems fine on them, but honestly having a little bit quieter of an exhaust is slept on imo. You can get away with a lot more hooligan shit, have less angry interactions with folks, less time talking to cops and less annoyance on long rides with a little bit quieter of a pipe and I think the yoshi is the best of all worlds. It looks good, the quality is fantastic, it isn't super loud at idle or lower rpm but it sounds great when you get into it. It's the goldilocks pipe for the DRZ i think
@@StreetbeatDesigns67 i saw people saying they weren't being made anymore as well in some forum somewhere unfortunately, I'll see if maybe i can't track something down on eBay. But, noted! That definitely makes me just want to spend the extra money on the yoshi, quieter is definitely not a bad thing haha, it's nice!
So glad to see you having fun
🖤
Yes!!!!! Love it.
Thank you sir!
