29th October 2022, People got crushed in the alley next to the Hamilton Hotel. Itaewon is famous for its clubs and exotic restaurants. Young people find this place to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere. It is the best place to spend Halloween night, but the alley was too narrow to cope with its crowd.
People got collapsed because of the pressure, 156 passed away and 187 got injured. South Korea will have a seven-day period of national mourning from Sunday until November 5th.
