The best rock concert of Paul David "Bono" with The Edge. A total U2 Band linked to his audience. "How long will we sing a song"....A very stirring concert and for me, even if a Jazz lover, an excellent concert with "ALL songs stirring my guts". Gosh when i think this concert was very close to my place of birth in Champigny S/Marne...well maybd i was in that also very beautiful place "La Cartoucherie" where are located 5 theaters among them "Ld theatre du Soleil" directed by a true world wide Director Ariane Mnouchkine ..... God bless you U2 as well.
U2: 40 HOW LONG TO SING THIS SONG…HOW LONG TO SING THIS SONG…HOW LONG TO SING THIS SONG…HOW LONG…HOW LONG…HOW LONG…HOW LONG…TILL JESUS COMES AGAIN TO TAKE US HOME! 😇😇😇🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️✝️✝️
I might be from an another religion but i totally agree with you a very stirring concert which make us come close to God if it exists which i truely think. In the name of God did Bono sings

@@kayned47 They definitely had amazing tours and concerts in the 90s. ZooTV, Achtung. ZooTV Sydney was their most epic concert. But in my humble opinion, Joshua Tree and Rattle and Hum were something very special, Bono’s voice was at its peak in terms of sound and performance, it had a very raspy sound to it, and the songs had a very bluesy rhythm. Songs from Joshua Tree and Rattle And Hum have a more natural and less edited sound to them. For me it is surprising to see an Alternative Rock band sound way ahead of its time without having to use any electronic sounds, just natural instrument sounds, look at With Or Without You for example, it sounds like something that came out in the early 2000s. Don’t get me wrong, Achtung Baby is AMAZING, but Joshua Tree and Rattle And Hum are just different. But to be honest, it mostly comes down to personal preference, and those two albums are what satisfy me the most.

U2 Tour before 1992: Just 4 guys playing and only the stage where they are U2 Tour after 1992: WE NEED 150 LEDS, BIG ARCHITECTURES AND A MEGA SPECTACLE SEEN BY THE PUBLIC, AND ALSO YOU HAVE US PLAYING MUSIC
I had an opportunity to be at this concert and due to young stupidity I didn't go. I am very fortunate to have seen u2 many years later at their U 360 concert, but to this day I chagrin my decision to not go to see this version. U2 is my favorite band - this is a great video of their early stuff!
I’m sorry that I haven’t U2 live yet.. the closest was the U2 multiple camera concert/film that was , what almost 15 years ago. I was scrolling, now trying to find that.. Anyone have that??? But this is good- I’ll watch it
It is incredible to think of the quality of the music and sound LIVE performed by them!! Only 4 guys!! It reminds me of another great super band I love: QUEEN. Good bless rock and roll and good music. Nowadays, at least here in Brazil, youngsters look only for CRAP music, its a huge decrease on quality and music culture.
cried my eyesballs out to "With or without you" as a 14 yearold... and here i am 25 something years later and still cries my eyeballs out at 39 I love you Bono and The Edge... i LOVE you
When you see these guys live you realise what a huge integral part of this band The Edge was. The guy is killing it on the guitar, the piano, vocals and gelling the whole thing together. fecking l'edge'nd.
MY LETTER TO U2-1987 I saw you guys on the Joshua Tree tour in 1987 at MTSU-Middle Tennessee State University Saturday November 28th 1987. The Bodeans opened up for you. I remember at the time Larry had a crush on Wynonna Judd and she came out and sang a duo with Bono! I didn't have tickets to the show. A friend of mine drove us 3 hours from East Tennessee to see the show. We bought tickets at the box office for $18.50. We ended up 8th row center stage! I remember back then the band held back tickets for fans who were willing to make the drive and couldn't get tickets via phone or record store locations. Thanks again to Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr for making a special album and tour! I was 18 and had just graduated High School that year! All the Best! Gary Lagstrom
How many times I woke up at 5am and drove 90 mins to the beach with my surfboard on the roof with these songs playing…magic times. Each time that I listen to these songs, all these pleasant memories come back through my veins directly to my heart. Blessed that I was able to live these era.
Yup, I'm back listening to this amazing concert again! The talent, performance and togetherness of this group keeps me coming back and back. Love you guys! Thank you.

What a great gig this was,
Did 4 of the UK dates on this tour and then got a coach to Paris to see David Bowie on 3 July and this concert on 4 July. Great times.
Guapísimo Bono

I cannot walk away from this concert for long...This performance is just so passionately joyful, so riveting!
Bono has a beautiful Soul inside & out❤❤❤❤

♥️♥️♥️
@30:35 is Bono's guitar ever plugged in?
That guitar solo rules in BTBS!
Bono = Best Rock Vocal of the World!!!!!!
nah
yah@@Antonio-sd5yn
Bono & the Edge looks like 18th century Spanish sailors, Larry an underwear model and Adam looks like he's from the film Romper Stomper 😂
...wrong, Adam looks really like my stepfather😵💫
