Honestly speaking I've just tried MMA only due to the fact that I am not prof weld no experience at all but I am trying hard to study on how to weld from tig, Meg and plasma. I started on MMA because it's understandable the process of it. I am very sorry I can't give you the best answer in regards to your question.

@@pitikaron No problem! :-) I’m not a professional either, but I need to refurbish a van completely, and I’d like to make a stainless steel railing and some items from aluminum. It’s definitely possible to weld aluminum using the MIG method, and it’s said to work well. Probably also with TIG, as it allows for COLD welding, and I assume that with the right settings, there shouldn’t be an issue. Thanks for the info. Best regards!

@DejanSkrinjar I once became a prof welder watcher and I confirm MIG can weld aluminium if the welding wire is for aluminium but the most important is the settings on it, the right Amper to choose and the pressure of Gass.

If your 3.5Ah is high drain battery up to 120C then you can but if not sorry It never worked.

AC to DC Power supply can't work you need a high drain battery RC car battery it's better because it is designed for high drain and look for 120C 12V 10Ah or 10000mah

I suggest 12V 10Ah up to 120C so that it can weld 0.2mm nickel strip

You need high drain battery Lipolymer 50-120C 10Ah 12V

@@pitikaron can I use 10 awg? even my 8 awg gets hot. I already have a turngy rapid 6000 100c and I was going to add another battery in parallel 5500mah 140c (yes I know they arent identical but they will be fine as long as I monitor the voltage)

For me it is much better thicker than 8 AWG if you can find
