This is a digital controller of 3-degree-of-freedom parallel manipulator aka Stewart platform created using TouchDesigner. Kinematic is based on RRS (rotational-rotational-spherical) and it uses 3 motors to tilt the platform in desired orientation.

This is a work-in-progress of my new kinetic artwork. This is a wine swirling machine that gracefully swirls wine, trying to imitate human motions. Its design is based on a rotational-rotational-spherical joint (RRS) three legged parallel manipulator. The frame is mostly in aluminium with few 3D printed parts. The simulation is created using TouchDesigner, and it's controlled by a Teensy board....

Curious as to how you modeled the surface before and during thermoforming? Rhino and Grasshopper?
@@t.josephnkansah-mahaney7961 the surface was modelled after the thermoforming, simulated with grasshopper + kangaroo (physics engine) and pre-stretched to flat sheet for 3D printing

Are the green one is symbol for universal joint and red one for spherical ?
green is not universal, it's rotational (in 1 axis)
I have an MK3S clone with Ramps 1.4 lying around. I'm wondering if it would be possible to implement this on this hardware plus a CNC shield for the other axes?
I think it’s possible, but I opted for Duet board because their firmware is really easy to implement

I will try to build this myself, A, I don't have Prusa 3d printer, so I will have to modify few things to adapt it to my own printer (self mad one), B. I would appreciate a Bill of Materials (BOM) please so if I need to but things I have to know what to buy, C. I have an Octopus motherboard that can address 8 (OCTO) stepper motors, would the firmware work i.e. Reprap? Many thanks Siamak
