    • @pestruckman
      @pestruckman 21 час назад

      @@p1nesap I believe it! There have been occasional ones documented (two were unfortunately killed by cars) in eastern Canada and the young males are known for picking a direction and traveling long distances looking for a territory and a mate. They did ID tracks in Maine some years ago (of an adult, witness saw a mother with two cubs, but the substrate was such they couldn't confirm the cubs but there is no reason to doubt him). If you know bobcats (or lynx) well, the differences are unmistakeable, I have only seen two wild mountain lions (one in California, one in Peru) but there was absolutely no question what they were.

    • @pestruckman
      @pestruckman 18 дней назад

      Many are wary at first (there is a red light they notice, and the new scent); some get used to it quickly but others remain wary for a long time. I know a biologist that wanted to study animals reactions to the traps- if some avoided the areas altogether after discovering them- but I haven't seen the results of his work yet.
