SAS HDD's are price competitive for consumers with SATA counterparts in 2024. Glad to see SAS SSD's are becoming price competitive for the server space.

Most still uses SAS ans SATA. m2, nvme, and alike are not common for servers.

At the scale enterprise and cloud providers use these they are substantially cheaper than NVME storage, of course to the average consumer they seem ridiculously expensive.
@@nadtz i did a bit more digging and used sas ssds seem like an okay value. especially with faster than sata speeds. it is a bottleneck even for gaming i feel like. and consumer boards dont have infinite space for nvme storage like some boards have 3 slots but if your the type to slowly accumulate more storage like me honestly investing in sas for personal use might make sense.
@@gamagama69 I'm personally in the process of rebuilding my homelab VM server and hunted around for used enterprise parts. Wasn't 'cheap' exactly but if you take your time ebay can have some surprising deals.

The logo is a complete rip-off of NOKIA. KI looks like N, and X looks like K. Nokia should sue them. It is a common tactic by many far east companies.
