This was one of the best menu planning videos I have seen. Highlights were: Rotating breakfast and lunch menus. Rollover meals. Planning for busy nights during the week. Planning for special events, holidays, and family dinners during the month. These last 2 seem obvious, but when you have cookbooks in front of you, you tend to forget about real life.

Wow! This was so helpful. I appreciate the recommendations you provided. For my particular situation, I like to buy my family dinner on Fridays and go for a nice car ride. Problem comes when we dine out more than once a week and and don’t have a budget for dinning out. Back to the cash envelopes one shall go and utilize apps for all the free stuff and discounts one can get. Also with the cash envelopes, to avoid having to much cash in your procession, just have the cash for your spending categories on hand and keep the rest digital.

I've just recently watched your videos in this past week. It is so true, buy something for yourself and encouraging the tattoo party over here! I only have two, right now. Have you considered doing this as a side hustle for families and use it to begin with a business license or something? I'm super also on the side of do something that'll make a memory. I paid for my ex and I to go get couple's massages and it was nice for both of us. ❤😊

Have you ever used teddy grahams instead of the graham crackers for the s'mores mix?

If you have a Kroger, they have chicken breasts for 1.99 at ours every other month or so! Also, ground beef goes on sale frequently. We stock up when they do and freeze 😊

We freeze and keep bread in the fridge too. Lasts so much longer!

I use a vacuum sealer for my meat and veggies that I freeze and absolutely love it!

I would love for you to do a video on what you have found for gluten free pasta etc. that you’re family actually likes as I and my daughter have Hashimotos and it’s SO hard to find gluten free that we like…we get so disheartened with most products we try…so we stick to same we can tolerate!
