Lol, got the lift back! You don't realize how much they're missed until you tie one up, then it's like you need all the time. Sure beats a creeper on concrete or cardboard on gravel. I'm curious as to how much interaction (both at the track and at the shop) there was between the two Bob Beard cars. Did you guys share parts/notes/knowledge/etc with the #77 of Ken Ragan? Or were the two completely seperate and just coicidentally had the same sponsor? Were the teams treated equally or was there a clear #1 and #2 team? Thanks for uploading this! Always cheered for the underdogs and 1988 was my favorite year!

⁠we run 3 modified classes here at 4 tracks. USMTS, Limited / B mod and Pro Mod. We are limited to 3 link rear suspension and we run asphalt slicks (yes on dirt) only motor rule is no aluminum blocks. We are as fast at the open A mods.

This vehicle is as old as the US highway system! The US Highway system was born in 1926 and many of the original US highways were paved with extremely durable concrete surfaces. Here in Minnesota there are still a number of old highway stretches made of this durable concrete that exist to this day which I’m sure a model T Ford like this one drove over many times.
