Summer afternoon on the Wisconsin River with Buddy
Shot August 23 and September 9, 2024 on the Wisconsin River in Columbia County, Wisconsin. My dog Buddy loves exploring the river I think maybe even more than I do. I shot using a mirrorless Canon R6 MII and DJI Mini 4 Pro. Thanks for watching!

Hi, Voss. This is exciting. Like you, I was a French teacher and at the term of my carriere, I went on in a new nature school (my garden!) but now learning from the plants I Grow. Pleased to meet you in this 2019 first day. happy New Year. Don' forget : "Il faut cultiver son jardin!" À bientôt, Voss.
Love her video! A true hosta lover is always something to cherish. I wish she would make more videos!
Gotta love a hoop house. That feeling is alive!
where did you get that basket with holes? great presentation. thanks
It is an insert for the pot. They are sold as a 'package'.
👌🏾
Good
That's way too rough handling, they won't store very long.
I enjoyed watching this. I grow a couple acres of veg for restaurants and coops too. If I have a chance I will record our transplanting, we use a similar machine to plant squash, tomatoes, and broccoli in CA. thanks! -AJ

Wish I could hear .Very poor audio.
❤️ Love your video/information! xo
interesting video but sound is very bad.
Awesome but someone needs to tell this guy about SPIN gardening. You can use other peoples yards and have much more room to grow. Curtis Stone on this channel can show quite a bit of info.
+Toni Bartling Hi Toni. I am a SPIn farmer. I grow crops in two of my neighbors yards but have the greenhouses (3 now) in my backyard.
Thanks for making the video. Quick and concise.
Thank you for this, and I'm a lefty too, so I feel your pain.
Every day is a school day :-) it's Saturday night in Scotland , uk , thanks for the video . I will have a beer and a movie for you tonight :-) now I can harvest my veg in my boxes for my soups lol and freeze them , thanks m8 :-)
Amazing
all I can hear is crickets?! o.O
Kat Cardy i hear her fine
"So maybe you missed a movie on a Saturday night, because you've been home blanching. But truly, when you pull that frozen spinach out of your freezer, and use it in your menus, you're going to think it's better than anything that a Hollywood movie could offer anyway"
Thanks for sharing so much details about the division of Hosta and the likes and dislikes of some Hostas including watering; flowering scents and deer. This was an amazing journey listening and watching you talk about Hostas as well as your dedication to Hostas.
where do you get olive oil from and for how much ?maybe i have an offer for you !
Thanks for posting
Great video. I always use cold running tap water as opposed to ice plunge and have never had a problem, like you said you have to make sure your veggies are completely cold. :)
this is a dream, id love to do this! seems like alot of work
Thanks for the post
nice !!
Love it and her enthusiasm
One of my friends told me to use black pepper to protect the leaves. Hmmm. I am going to try it this year. Hope it works for you, too!
A big thank you to all the farmers out there !
beautiful work! spread the Love and Health!
I use my blanched veggies for stir fry's. :)
I'm new to Madison area and would love to buy your plants. Hope to see you this spring at the Market. Heirlooms are my interest for this year. Also love to support teachers.
Will be glad to see you and talk to you about all the heirlooms we are growing this year. Available at the Co-op, the Saturday market on the Square, and the Northside Sunday market.
Hope to see you there. Is spring ever coming?
kwo dell It's going to be 60 on Sunday:-)
Right on Mark, this is great. My wife and I did the same thing, we asked around and found a large tract of land. We manage the property and grow food on the part that we live on. We are at 7500 ft, so the growing season is short. we use a solar green house and low tunnels. Keep up the good work. Nice sweater!
Excellent man!
My kind of job...;-}
You got great soil :) I just thought I would thank a farmer for taking the time to educate viewers. we all live around crops... just not the same crops.
Great stuff...I enjoyed watching. How does your hoophouse hold up with snow load? Are you out there numerous times a day when it snows with the broom?
Snow load has not been an issue. I do knock the snow off occasionally. Mostly it just slides off on its own since it has that pointed, gothic peak.
alright, thanks
I watched this video after I did my blanching, on a Saturday night. Great tips!. Thanks!
1/3 acre, about 15,000 sq. ft.
Thanks for explaining why to blanch you explained it very well and I understood . GREAT
