Liverpool only got 3 back and won on penalties, both teams (Liverpool and AC Milan) had equal quality and bank accounts. Tranmere got 4, when bottom of the championship, against a team in the premiership with much more quality and money, i think this game wins.
Wycombe's manager got interviewed after their match the same night, and the interviewer asked him if he knew what had happened at Prenton Park. His reply was something along the lines of, "I don't care, it can't beat what just happened here". How wrong he was!
stephen reece Oh Southampton had it worse mate, trust me it's never nice seeing your team messing up a big lead. I remember going to a game where we played Newcastle a few years ago at their place. We were 4-0 up and it hadn't even got to 30 mins. Guess what happened after half time?! That's right, they scored 4. It was devastating and it actually felt like a loss. I don't know if it was worse being at that game or witnessing us blowing a 3-0 lead to the mighty Anderlecht!
