This is misleading. You can create all the players you want on a roster you import into RTTS. You CANNOT use your created player IN road to the show. He'll be on the roster, sure. But you won't be controlling them. You USED to be able to choose whether or not to create a new player for RTTS, or select an existing one. Then, you could do this trick and it would work. You no longer have that option, because for some reason companies who make sports video games think it's smart to take away/give us less options, and force us to spend money AFTER purchasing the game if we want the same things we used to get for free. It's lame, but the only way to really get a jump start on your RTTS players OVR is equipment and shit. So you either have to buy some good stuff you can immediately equip and boost your OVR, or have collected a bunch of it randomly just from playing. Back when the progress was tied to stubs, you could make your RTTS player #1 overall type talented right at the beginning of your career, or just make him 99 everything if you really wanted too. I always made my guy like 70 overall right out the gate - not too good because he's an 18 year old rookie, but good enough that I will be a decent MLB player by like 20. It also means you can have the game on a serious difficulty and not get your shit handed to you every game because your 62 overall. Now, you get your equipment/perk boosts, and that's it. Attributes go up slow af, even when you mash the ball. And then if you do make it to the show early, it's super unrealistic because you're like in the 60s. It's so stupid, STOP TAKING AWAY OPTIONS 😕🤬🤨🤨🤬🤨🤨
