Good to hear! The tail tidy improves the look so much, I'm jealous of your heated grips, my hands were freezing today. Hopefully you can get out before the snow, I'll be trying to get out tomorrow.

@MoustacheRides winter be on the way soon but I'll be ready to go come spring and I can still do some riding right now as there are still some warm days. Just couldn't pass up the price. It's about 1k dollars less compared to other dealers.

@motorhead45102 Gotta get as much riding in as possible! Hopefully you can track one down, I was about to buy a z500 until this cb500 popped up, they don't seem to stay in stock very long. Good luck!!

@@MoustacheRides alot of the dealers always seem to have the nx500 in stock lol. The one by my house said they are probably not getting a 500f till next year. They let me ride the nx500(think they really wish I would buy it lol). I like the looks of the 500f more though however a bunch of older guys at work like the nx500. I did fit fine on both the f and the nx and it seems if I go with a 24 500f it will have pretty much the same dash and controls as the nx.

@motorhead45102 I was initially trying to get my hands on a cb650r or an mto7, the reason I didn't was because my insurance wouldn't do anything over a 500cc. I have a friend who's interested in my bike so I may upgrade next summer, but I think it's a bike you could ride for a while no problem.

@@MoustacheRides Yeah comparing costs of everything including insurance, the cb500 would be alot easier on the wallet lol. Wouldn't be a bad idea to start on that for the "full size" bike coming from a grom and I in total only have 700 miles of riding which is all on the grom lol. I'd still keep the grom tho, its definitely fun to mess around on.

@motorhead45102 I don't think you can go wrong with the cb500, on the cheaper side with enough power and gets you used to a bigger bike. If you aren't a speed demon then I think you'll enjoy it.

​@@MoustacheRides yeah im just trying to get some ideas about the bike. Like how tall are you and how the bike fits you and the seating position. Its why i want to sit on one in person. So far i was able to sit on the nx500 but they wouldnt let me try riding it. Just sitting on it definitely feels heavy to me but im not used to how the bikes feel and only been on a grom and a tu250x from the msf class lol. But im not 100% set on any specific bike yet but definitely been wanting to get a good look at the 500f.

@motorhead45102 I'm about 5'10 and I can flat foot the bike easily, it's an upright seating position which I like, I don't have any issues with comfort for my legs being cramped. I believe it's on the heavier side at around 400lbs but it handles very well.

@@MoustacheRides I'm around 6'1 and I had no issues sitting on the cb300 and definitely had room and can flat foot the nx500. I felt alittle too snug on the mt03. But I found a dealer has a cb500 it's about 50 miles from me might take a drive to check it out. And keep the videos coming I'll tune in to watch.
