This is how I converted my Vetterli rifles to center fire. Much easier to get ammo now. Ok, so it's no longer totally original, but it can be shot now.

playing with my 1895 Winchester, Russian contract rifle. 7.62x54R, and loads with a stripper clip. These were made for Russia during World War one just before the revolution.

Since that's a pistol do you have to have a special license slash permit since it has a stock

@@TristanMartin-t3q yes, .32-20 is still available. I have to convert cartridges for some of my other collectables though
I was gifted one of these G-380's a few years ago. Iove the weight and balance, it feels sturdy like I want a pistol to feel. I wish I had more than the one clip It came with, but having part of the unique history of High Standard is good enough for me. I have what I believe is the original leather holster with a front extra clip pocket, but have yet to find information on this.

@@domesticonion8026 got it from the estate of a gunsmith friend. He was heavy into single shot target rifles.

Those were the days when gunsmiths and engineers took pride in their crastmanship and made things of beauty to last for a lifetime. This gun is an excellent piece of master craftmanship by German engineers. They are still the best engineers and engineering.
